The hotel room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The hallways had a musky water damaged stench. The front desk was rude twice during check in. There were no clean pool towels. General conditions were unacceptable. The bathroom had no fan so humidity during showers made the bathroom inoperative for half an hour. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken, so when reaching for toilet paper, the roll would fall in the floor. Valet parking was entirely too long to wait. If my key wasn’t held hostage, I could have walked to my car and loaded it before they even greeted me. The tiki bar drinks were quite watered down. The only enjoyable part of our stay was leaving.

Our room was very dated. Questionable cleanliness. Floors grimy. Broken futon. Kitchen very minimal supplies. Not desirable. Dark and depressing. Lighting poor. Waiting for our stay to be over. This was the second room we had looked at.We had requested the first floor and the room was so bad we switched to another room at check in but took it because we were so tired. Never go back again There are too many places to choose from to stay there again.. Now I had two friends that stayed there also and had a beautiful room. Very bright and updated. They were satisfied. Construction noise everywhere. Hard to converse outside. Specially by the pool. Scum floating around in the pool. Tiki bar ok and busy but spendy unless happy hour.

The mixes drinks at the bar have no alcohol in them, the food was pretty bad too but there is cvs and grocery store and liquor store across the street

Salt water pool is the best and the Tiki bar is fun and relaxing. The lobby is well appointed and the room location with an ocean view was a bonus. The price was reasonable, but the mattresses were pretty old. The bedding was fine, but the mattresses were very worn and squeaky. Some details around the resort need some attention, but otherwise a good stay.

Good location , good hotel for the price Will stay again

This was a nice resort with a selling point being the fact that it is right on the beach and also the tiki bar is awesome . the swimming pool is not as nice as it looks in the photos. This Resort is older and has been updated though the updates in our room were obvious because they were not very solid. There were holes in the walls with wires sticking out there were old bed frames left under our bed and the outlets to the plugins were loose. I enjoyed being able to wake up every morning and go right to the beach without having to go cross streets and bridges the people there were very friendly and accommodating particularly Chris A.. The guy who rented out chairs and gave us towels. He was very friendly and very attentive. We would definitely come back as the issues noticed I considered minor since the main reason we came to Fort Lauderdale was for warm weather and sunny beaches and that did not disappont.

I like that it is the cheapest beachfront we found and we were able to get an ocean view room. However, we cannot hear the waves due to LARGE exhaust fans outside for the hotel ( I don’t see other hotels with ones like these). Also, very shoddy workmanship on repairs that have been done in interior. Cleanliness could also be improved.

Had to leave in the middle of the night and get a room at a hotel across the street. Biggest issue was no hot water at all and when I requested a different room I was told the boiler was out and the entire hotel was without hot water. The clerk did not seem concerned and did not grasp that this was an issue, and in fact seemed surprised I just didn't already know the fact it was not working. Further, there was a shower door missing, so even if I had chosen to take a cold shower, the bathroom surely would have flooded. I'm certain the drain was clogged as well judging by the amount of sand in the bottom of the tub when I went to go use the shower. Over half the light switches in the room were non functional, including the one nearest the entryway which is a major safety issue. Locks were questionable, walls were dilapidated, and there was exposed wiring on the wall with the TV and refrigerator. I'll require an immediate refund for the hotel portion of my trip. Please contact me if further information is required.

Me and my wife stayed here feb. 28th-mar.3rd . We are going back for sure. Loved the heated pool area and the tiki bar. our room was ok. Not the greatest but really when it’s 85 out and on the beach how much are you in there!! Had two queen beds. One was soft and the other was firm. Walking distance to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea!!! That is a great place. Hear nothing but good this about this place from all the ppl we met that stay there for months at a time. Frank the owner of all of it is a nice down to earth guy that seams to like hanging around the place. Again, we are going back.

I love Ocean Manor it is the perfect place to do anything you want you want to have a wedding you want to eat dinner have lunch at breakfast if you want a safe environment for you and your kids Ocean Manor is the place it has everything you need to one bedroom 2 bedroom efficiencies at the staff at the front desk customer service skills are 100% A+ plus and I thank you for a wonderful time Ocean Manor staff

The location is very nice especially the Ocean Front view However, for the amount you pay the Hotel rooms are not very clean and they don't clean your room unless your on the list we put our name on the list and room still was not clean to the point we tore the sheets off the bed as a hint we had to call and two times then manager came. The restaurant and Tiki bar food is very good and excellent service. Staff is very nice but seems as though they don't like third party booking such as Orbitz they give you a terrible room unless you book through them and OMG the Kitchen Suite looks horrible it's old and dated please call and ask which room are available or you will get a antiquated room or when you get there ask to see the rooms that are available. Some of the pictures are very deceiving sorry

just a sheet on the bed when check in next day we got a comforter. bugs in kitchen noting to wash dishes with. cocaroach in living room. pool was dirty and ash trays all around. beach had lots of butts and garbage. bathroom shower was so small no bath tub old heat lamp in celing with dirty duck that don't work. windows all broken and some screwed in with screws. no screens not safe at all. we made the best of our trip but glad was only a few days. our last night the noise from next door went on until 5am yelling and screaming no sleep for the hubby was happy to go home..

When we first checked in they overbooked our type of room, so they were going to put my party in separate rooms instead of the two bedroom suite I reserved. Turned out that they did have one two bedroom suite available but we needed to wait so they could clean it even though we walked in the hotel after 4pm and check in is listed as 3pm. When we finally got to the room it looked like the room had not been remodeled since the 80s the ceiling was chipping paint doors looked like they were rotten, outdated kitchen refrigerator was leaking called front desk told me handy man left for the day but they would send him up first thing next day but he never made it up to our room during all of our stay we had to keep putting towels on the floor by the fridge to soak up the water. There was an exposed electrical panel that was very rusty. Plumbing was horrible drains were super slow, only one person could shower within an hour if not the tub would over flow. The kitchen sink would not drain. Overall the condition of the room was a disgrace to The Ocean Manor resort.. I would not stay there ever again nor would I recommend this resort to no one I know unless I did not like them.

Very nice stay, friendly staff and beautiful beach. A little way from the busy part of the beach, but that's what we preferred. Loved the tiki bar, we would definitely stay there again.
