The property was beautiful and very clean! Would absolutely stay there again!!
The staff that monitors the pool area needs to work on their customer skills. They could be doing walk a- bouts and cleaning up. Chick-fil-a training classes should be held for them.
Decent location. Friendly staff
I didn’t have any issues with staff that other people were talking about, everyone seemed nice and friendly. The overall feel of the hotel is really cute and I liked the design aesthetic. The bathrooms on the main floor were nasty and in need of a good cleaning. The room was super cute and spacious and loved the vintage refrigerator. However, bathroom needed to be cleaned much better. Pool is bit small but hotel wasn’t that crowded when we were there so didn’t bother us. My kids loved the lazy river but it needs a major cleaning. While the regular pool was clean the water in the lazy river was murky looking and the the bottom and sides are covered in a layer of what looks like moss. Needs resurfacing badly. Overall we had a really nice time there with our kids, everyone was nice and friendly and it’s really pretty. Also just be aware that the Orbitz VIP credit can only be used towards food and drinks and not towards parking or resort fee.
I think they come down on price for valet parking
Clean with excellent service. Always accommodating and friendly

Site wonderful. Beautiful views. Rooms spacious. Pool area nice with lazy river/bar. Service good but not great. Need more promptness when answering phone calls to from outside to front desk, reservations etc. Food good but not in comparison to prices. Really liked location... not too close to the loud/party areas of comparable hotels on the oceanfront. Staff friendly and helpful. Would return.
Way overpriced, understaffed and dirty! We had heard great things about the Pelican Grand, but they ruined our family vacation. On the first day, the pool bar and restaurant was nonfunctional. They said they were very understaffed, but this issue continued during our entire trip. Also, other guests who had arrived before we did stated they had experienced similar horrible service. The staff that was outside was rude and inattentive, they also had poor appearances. If this was a $150 a night resort, all this would be acceptable but at $500 per day this place is a fraud. The last day the elevator was broken so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs. Also the lazy river was dirty and looked like a sewage drain. There was also a huge cockroach in our room 820. The pools look nothing like they appear online. This place has Motel 6 service with Ritz Carlton prices. Avoid at all costs!!
The beach, lazy river and general amenities were nice and "cozy" but we reserved an ocean view, and were given a partial ocean view instead. When you pay large amounts of money for a resort, I would expect better room options. Staff was nice, ice cream shop was nice & the scenery was good. Fyi no major restaurants easily close by, you must walk or use a vehicle to get to lets say Shooters to eat.
Awesome and very enjoyable spot. Hotel is literally on the beach.. no views of cars, pedestrians & “busy life” inhibiting the beautiful view of the Ocean and must I say palm trees!!!
Great resort and amazing customer service. The entire staff at the Pelican Grand was extremely accommodating, friendly and genuine to myself and my family. The grounds are upkept and beautiful. Awesome gym and super kid friendly pool (5 feet max). Brian Brown the pool attendant is the hardest working person, he makes everyone at the pool feel important and goes above and beyond for the guests. Easy access to the beach is a plus.
