Pelican Grand Beach Resort - A Noble House Resort

4.0 out of 5.0

We overall had a great stay. Friendly staff. Check in was a bit late and took a bit to get into the room. A couple of days we did not have a room made up until after 4 and no towels. Other than that, it was nice. Convenient beach access and lazy river was a big hit with the kids.

Best service and amenities for the price! With Orbitz I got an awesome deal, same day!!!! Will definitely return!

Very nice hotel but too many unexpected fees. There were fees for parking and resort Fees. Very limited food options as well. Other than that, hotel was amazing

Could use updating, some stains on rug, furniture older, but nice location.

We checked in close to midnight because of a late flight. We anted to get some beverages and snacks for the rom. An arrogant front desk person named Ian told us that Walgreens was just out the door to the right. We walked 1.7 miles until we hit the Walgreens. Not a great walk at midnight. We took a taxi back. We requested non-feather pillows due to allergies and asthma in the group. When we arrived at the room, feather pillows were all that we had. I attempted to call the front desk that night an no one picked up. (That was the case throughout the trip) The next morning, I went down and asked again for non-feather pillows. They never arrived and we used comforters as pillows. The hotel is nice but no where near the 4-5 stars that they claim. A 3.5 star rating is more accurate. For the price, you would expect more.

I specifically asked to be away from the elevator, and got a room right next to it. Road noise was also a concern. The room was nice.

Very nice hotel with a great veranda (tables, firepits) overlooking the beach and the ocean. The pool is nice (smallish) however the lazy river is a 10 in so many regards. The property is older however very, very well maintained. My sense was that many of the staff were fairly new (waiters, front desk personnel) and doing their best to learn their jobs. However, the vast majority of the staff were excellent and very friendly and accomodating. Jessica at the front desk and Victoria (waitress at pool and the beach) were two that stood out. The housekeeping staff was spotty, one day excellent and the next day she missed a number of things. Valet parking only, and absolutely call down for your car ahead of time----the most serious weakness to a great hotel stay. We will absolutely return.

The Pelican Grand is a wonderful non-smoking hotel. We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel, e.g., dining, ocean views, the beaches, and the location. We drove to most Fort Lauderdale activies; however, most were within three miles of the hotel.

Noise issue from the top floor party - party music going on after mid night. When I asked the hotel manager at night shift to stop the noise, the hotel manager told me that people paid a lot of more money to rent the venue for wedding, and there is no way to ask them to stop loud party music until 1am - if you are a hotel guests paying almost $300 per night for a nice beach resort vacation, can't even have a good night sleep, and was told so by hotel manager - how would you feel about it?

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful restaurant and beach.

Love the place, will come back, celebrated our honeymoon!!!

The value for your dollar is there. If you are looking for a place to sleep in this is not it. The cleaning staff is noisy in the morning. The wait time at breakfast is over controlled in favor of the staff not the guests. It was tedious to watch. Don't come early your room will NOT be ready we promise. The food is terrific...the bar is fantastic...the overall feel is great... the beach is well maintained and serviced with good staff. The price is right. There really is nothing to complain about. There is always a taxi when needed.

From the moment you walk in, the staff is most welcoming and entire experience was fabulous. Will definitely look to come back!

Two days with beautiful views. Food was terrific. Close to many other restaurants.

Hotel was very nice and great beach. Restaurant and bar service were slow, hotel food and drinks not worth the price but overall a good place to stay.

Fantastic 1. Best balcony I ever had - ocean front, surf crashing just a few yards away - perfect! 2. Hotel location - away from crowds, close to park with lots of natural interests, short UBER rides to malls and restaurants 3. Lazy river was cool Mediocre 1. The 35 minute wait for lunch when 75%+ of the tables were empty 2. The 9 new front door keys I had to get because the previous key(s) became inoperative. I received three front desk promises they would came and fix the door. That never happened. 3. The maid service came at 4 pm daily - which meant we waited for clean towels til then

Perfection!!! From the moment you drive up to the hotel you can feel a sense of calm. Oceanfront property! Gorgeous boutique style hotel with modern amenities. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room's are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Pool is fun with a lazy river. Beach private. A slice of paradise!

From start to finish, check in to checkout ,we were treated well by an attentive staff, dined well in a memorable restaurant with an eclectic menu and a knowledgeable waitstaff.. After some traveling, this stay was the highlight of our vacation.

The views from this hotel are AMAZING! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We can't wait to come back and visit again!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Staff are great and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. 100 recommended
