Enjoyed my time there. Friendly staff and good food

Not a bad hotel, Continental breakfast way overpriced for the selection & quality. Hotel is dated/old. Clean and maintained but needs a face lift and some concrete removed to remove the 70's vibe. Decent pool, all pool food delivered cold, A+ on the chicken fingers, they were still warm and tasty, confused on cold delivery when the kitchen is on the pool deck with the bar, drinks were good, attentive staff.

The overall experience was terrible!! I definitely didn't get what I paid for. My room was "given" away and my husband and I had to sleep in two twin size beds our first night after a long day of travel! The next day we were told we would have our king size bed on the marina front (which I paid for). Well, we didn't!! I was looking at the parking lot. Needless to say, The Hilton honor was NOT in effect.

The air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it off at night. Every time Someone above us flushed the toilet, it was like it was coming from our room. The satellite tv kept going out. The only positives were the view and the fact that it was close to the beach.

Nice hotel - close to the beach. Pool area could have been cleaner but staff was great.

Pool was shut down for 5 days. We were compensated with food & drink coupons & offered shuttle servive to Hilton marina hotel for pool privledges. Beach access was limited due to huge country music festival (Tortuga 2017). Lots of big trucks, traffic & noise all day long. Rooms were old & every room had a heat / a/c unit in the room (like a motel). Great location on the A1A.

I spent a week at Bahia Mar and it was pure bliss . The staff was wonderful . The location is perfect if your a beach lover like me . I could simply walk across the bridge to the Atlantic Ocean and nearby restaurants and shops. My room was wonderful very spacious with a balcony overlooking the marina and partial ocean view. The Breezes restaurant located by the main lobby was wonderful for breakfast and the "Jungle Queen " dinner / tour boat is located right next to the hotel. All the staff were wonderful and I would definitely recommend. I will most certainly stay here again when I return to Ft lauderdale. ❤️❤️❤️

Hotel was great. It would have been nice to know about the $25 parking fee up front.

Nice hotel. Great view of the beach and boats. When we first checked in everything was great. Found out you had to pay for wifi but if you signed up to the hilton rewards program it was free. We found out that we had to pay to park which added up really quick for our stay and found out the parking place down the street was almost half the cost of the hotel for daily rates but not that big of a deal. Hotel was clean and our room was clean. We don't have the cleaning staff in our room at all on our stays nor do we keep the room messy. But since we didn't use the cleaning staff we would run out of towels and when we called for them we got attitude and seemed like we were annoying them. It did take them a while to bring us towels ( 1 hr and a half) but we learned to call quicker and be just as rude to them as they were to use and seemed to work out. Other than the towel issue I had a great stay also not sleeping there for two nights and not being in the hotel much because it was a vacation.

The Hotel Staff was excellent, food and drinks were on point, I've already recommended this hotel to my friends and family.

Pretty nice stay overall. We stayed in the "updated" building. It wasn't very updated. However, the hotel is close to the beach. Easy access by using the hotels bridge to the beach. The pool area was nice. Nothing fancy, but still nice. The hotel staff was okay. Would recommend to someone.

The ocean view was absolutely gorgeous. The room was clean... The Staff were friendly and courteous. I'm definitely going back. Love the fact of being right on the beach. But, I wish they had King Size Beds instead of 2 beds. Only downfall... is the size of the bed...

The Hotel experience was bad bad, they were remodel the area our room was located, people and junk everywhere. Hammering from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day. The Air Condition quit about 4:00 Pm the first day and finally was fixed about 10:00 PM. The second night the A/C quit about 4:30 PM and never got it fixed all night, room was 86 degrees the next morning, miserable sleeping. We all complained to Front Desk, said they aware of the problems but no response from Management.

I LOVED EVERYTHING about this hotel!!! EVERYTHING!! BEST price on the strip and nicer than a hotel I paid 4 times more for a couple months ago 20 min away! The food was awesome and the pool bar, well..... The staff was AMAZING! Will only stay here again when visiting Lauderdale!!!

Hotel is located in a great location rooms are mediocre the halls need a serious upgrade they never mentioned that they charge for parking more than the car rental

What a great way to spend your birthday! This hotel was perfect, located right across the street from the beach. This hotel has an amazing hotel pool, and a fun atmosphere for just lounging poolside with a cocktail. The hotel fitness room is one of the best equipped i've seen, very large and well updated. I was a little unhappy that our car had to be valet parked during our stay adding $15/day to our trip. There was construction during our stay and this was the only option, a car really was not necessary during out trip. The hotel was within 15 drive from the airport, and walking distance to many shops, dining and bars. At no time did we feel unsafe walking day or nighttime. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a great location on Fort Lauderdale Beach, but no free wi-fi in rooms in 2014 anywhere is inexcusable and cheap on the hotel's behalf. Rooms are basic, but clean. Pool is very tiny and the gym is decent, for a hotel fitness center, but the pics of it are very deceiving. Might stay again in a pinch because of location, but I felt it was a little pricey for what you get.

Good and good experience. Would recommend to a friend.

We just needed a place to sleep for the night for a 0700 flight. We found this place. It's nice a bit dated for the money in what I'm assuming was the old building. The walkway to the beach that went up and over the road and was accessible from our hotel was a nice touch. The staff were incredible very helpful. There's a small but nice restaurant inside and a store attached.

Looking to extend our vacation for an extra day we chose the Bahia Mar. The hotel is across the street from the beautiful Ft Lauderdale beach and has a walkway bridge over the road for very easy access.. The water taxi stops next to the hotel and will let you ride all day for $22 . Good way to get downtown or to the more exclusive area shops on Las Olas Blvd and takes about 50 minutes. We chose to walk to the shops as it was later in the day and didn't think we wanted to spend $22. Very nice 2.2 mile walk, quite scenic and took us 45 minutes. Ate at Mango's, right in the heart of things . Always a good meal and plenty of food with great outdoor seating. Comfortable beds, large rooms and tasty chocolate chip cookie made for a very nice stay.
