AC wouldn't go off. We froze and had to turn off. Fluke. Would stay again.

Everything was perfect! Everyone was very accommodating and made my boyfriend and I enjoy everything about our trip! We just left and we are already discussing our next trip with plans to stay here again! The hotel is located by everything and offers complete relaxation.

Maria at the front desk reception was wonderful. From check in to stay, ever step was great. We all loved the beach and ocean water. Bathroom facilities were great. Pool bar offering great as well.

Stayed at this hotel March 24, 2018 what it was supposed to be a relaxing weekend gateway with my family, it turned out to be the weekend from HELL. First off, I booked a room with Oceanview and balcony, it was not available at 4:00 pm check in time, the hotel was fully booked and housekeeping were behind as per the front desk lobby, so they gave me a room in the 6th floor with no balcony so I said ok, not gonna make a big deal. Three hours later into our stay the fire alarm went off, hotel management were lost and did not know what was going on, elevators stop working and no power in the rooms. Approached the front desk to find out what was going on and did not have a clue, asked maintenance worker what was going on and was told they lost power and it would be restore shortly. Hours went by and no AC in the room, foul sewage odor coming out of the bathroom, tried calling the front desk from my cell and their phone service was out. To make long story short, my family and I did not sleep all night, my daughter got sick as result. Told by the front desk Juan and Marvin that I would get 150 dollars credit with Orbitz since I booked with them and that would not be charging resorts fees, that was a big lie, they charge my credit card the resort fees and did not get any credit through Orbitz despite of their effort contacting the Hotel management to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this hotel, front desk lobby and management are complete liars.

There are a ton of choices in Ft. Lauderdale, but only one Wreck Bar. I was excited by the idea of having drinks in the retro bar where Fred Ward and Ed Harris played their Apollo astronaut roles. According two Orbitz, the bar was open until 11, but the famed 'mermaid' shows were only on weekends. Okay, too bad about the mermaids, as we'd be there Tues/Weds . . . but it turns out the bar isn't even open on weekdays!?!!?? Instead there is a very mediocre restaurant, and a lobby bar with terrible lighting that offers all the charm of an ATM kiosk. To enjoy drinks and dinner with any kind of "resort" feel, we had to walk to the nearby Marriott, where we would have stayed if we'd known better.

I checked in and things were great. Dinner at the bar with friendly staff but some issues with room. Th sliding door in bathroom was coming off the wall, the shower towel holder almost fell off, mold in the shower and refrigerator didn’t work and door almost fell off. I reported these issues when I left. Room service was served with plastic utensils, glad I didn’t order a steak. Last morning, I request noon check out and the fire alarm went off sporadically from 10-12. Called the front desk and they didn’t know why, called back 10 min later to say they were testing it, no prior notice. Needless to say, I won’t be back based on the room conditions and lack of communication about “testing”. Staff was amazing and food was Devine.

I bookes for one night at $220.00 per night...Checked out at $400...Taxes, resort fee(????), valet parking(no other choice!)..For 25-35 year olds. I dont smell like teen spirit

Everything was fantastic! Only thing they could do is fix elevators, only one was working in our building and it took forever.

A very pleasant hotel right on the beach. Beach access is very easy. Staff very courteous. Rooms clean and modernized. No balconies unfortunately. No issues. Four out of five easily.

Clean and friendly on check in but staying longer than one night, so saw the many flaws. No system, room not cleaned before returning in the afternoon after 5.pm. Rarely cleaned until this was pointed out. Very few facilities in the bathroom, not even a hook to hang clothes. On return to room on third day after complaining that room not been cleaned till 5.00pm previous day it still had not been cleaned even though followed instructions of housekeeper. They then gave us a $50 'sorry' but there was no system of checking room for cleanliness. Never vacuumed, even though by this time we had the VIP by our name. On the final day returned to room around 12.30pm. Room had been cleaned but still open as though cleaner had left to collect something else. Returned 20 minutes later and met housekeeper who established cleaner had not shut the door properly on exit. The housekeeper was very good at apologising but that does not mean anything got done. This could be an excellent hotel if systems were put in place and everyone followed them. It appears that they are so used to dealing with one night air and cruise people that anyone staying longer is forgotten. There were very few places to eat locally if you didn't have transport and the waiter one evening on the restaurant of the hotel brought the main course before the appetiser. Great location pity about the ones running the hotel!

The property has been recently renovated and they did a phenomenal job. Spacious, pleasing and overall a very nice property. Best attribute is the private beach at the end of Fort Lauderdale Beach that really has a private feel to it and there is security on the beach to make sure it is private. Nice pool and bar at the pool too. My biggest criticism of this property is the hidden parking costs. Maybe not hidden, but for me to pay $37 a night to valet your car literally across the street in a parking garage is obscene. What you save on the reasonable room rates, you really get slammed for with this valet parking and other resort fees. If you stay here, do not rent a car, you will not need one. The beach and all the best bars and restaurants at Fort Lauderdale beach are within walking distance.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We arrived and waited a little to get checked in which was normal. We were informed at check in since we were prepaid through Orbitz they assess a $50.00 per day charge to your credit card for incidentals whether you use it or not which if you did not spend it a refund would be applied a few days after your visit. I'm used to leaving a card on file. Not being charged automatically. There was also a daily resort fee close to $40.00 per day charged for beach access, chairs, towels, bike rental and 2 bottles of water per day. The first day there were no chairs left and the third day it rained all day. We were still charged. The food was average, the Bistro was convenient. The room was clean but tv reception was horrible.. Best part was the helpful staff.

Be ready to pay an extra 128.00 for parking plus resort fee on top of the already overprised

The staff was so accommodating and extra generous. We stayed unexpectedly due to our flight being canceled and dealing with a nightmare at the airport. Hector at the front desk and Nadine the bartender were so sweet and amazing. Will recommend this hotel to many!

We booked booked this through Orbitz last minute and we were very pleasantly surprised. It was exactly how they described. We will definitely book with them next year.

No puede disfrutar mucho porqué tenía otras actividades fuera del hotel pero lo poco que vi me encanto

The hotel's best aspect is that it has a pool with beach access but everything else needs work including creating a consistently within the staff. I know that they just had a hurricane but that was not the issue. They have done a great job getting themselves up and running but they need to visit some 4/5 star hotels and see all the areas they need to improve.

Overall good experience right on beach, sold out first day we were there , so harder to get chairs and beach was very busy and noisy. Ac broke in part of building so they upgraded us to a nicer room with a view.

Make sure to book the correct view, or you may end up staring at a wall or a wall of trees instead of the beach. Otherwise, nice hotel.

The hotel is clean, well kept but false advertisement. The resort few doesn't really cover much. Upon arrival they didn't give me the room I paid for. They say that your rooms not ready and give you another room which is not what you paid for. The only good thing is that the hotel is right on the beach.
