Very busy over Memorial Day weekend. The crowd was extremely diverse culturally, which may appeal to some people, but it just wasn’t our scene. The atmosphere felt crowded, chaotic, and honestly not very upscale. The pool areas were packed with screaming kids, large groups of tourists, and plenty of people who probably should have reconsidered wearing a bathing suit in public. Not exactly the relaxing resort vibe we were expecting. They only had two pools, and one of them kept getting shut down for the mermaid show. The show itself was actually cool, but closing one of only two pools on Memorial Day weekend seemed ridiculous. Overall, not our type of place and we won’t be returning.

We absolutely loved the resort and the amenities. We did have an issue with the sheets, when we first got there, we always check the bed for bugs, and we noticed stains on the sheets. Requested a linen change and we ended up having to request twice as they never came the first time. Also, the shower head was broken, only half of it worked? Very odd. But overall an amazing stay, will definitely come back 💗

My family and I stayed for 7 nights with two rooms. Pros - location and proximity to beach, paid buffet breakfast was good but featured food that was the same for entire stay, deep pool was quiet and clean, sheets clean. Cons - mid-week scared by someone aggressively beating repeatedly on our door at 1:00 am really scaring our 10 YO, required two calls to security before the drunk and disorderly person was stopped and let into the room next door. The person continued to yell and slam things within their room then ran their shower water for 45 minutes (paper thin walls), our room was not clean with carpet obviously dirty, furnishings dated and beat-up, heat didn't work which took 2 days and 2 people working on it before resolved after waking to a 60ish degree room, inoperable safe took 3 requests over 3 days to get fixed with a new safe finally being brought, two days no room cleaning with no fresh towels, had to request shower soap and tissues, paid room upgrade to ocean view allowed for a balcony view only when standing due to type of railing that obstructs view when sitting, Salty Siren pool had limited chairs, pool drinks were over $20+ each, lunch for two adults and two kids $185 (burgers for 2 adults, chicken strips for 2 kids, no beverages 18% mandatory tip included). Overnight mandatory valet parking is pricy at $57. Noted details of stay quality at checkout (when asked) without so much as an apology or offer of an accommodation. Won't be staying here again!

Room was not ready at 4:00 check in time. Front desk said they would notify us when ready but didn’t. Finally got room at 5:30 with no apology. Entry door would not latch correctly unless door was slammed. Dead bolt would not work. Safe not operational because of low battery. Curtains detached from rod. Ran out of toilet paper and tissue. Overall condition of room ok but not excellent. Restaurant and bar access and availability not communicated.Beach access was excellent and Sand Bar staff excellent. For price point we would definitely not recommend

checkin at 4 o’clock didn’t get in until 5 o’clock, which is absolutely ridiculous given a 4 o’clock check-in. Got to the room, dirty carpets, went to call for my car at valet and the phone didn’t work. They put an automatic gratuity on which is fine as long as the service is appropriate. Two times I sat at the bar and ordered lunch and dinner and both times I basically had to yell to get someone’s attention. This is an expensive hotel and I do not recommend anyone stay there.

Clean, large room. There is plenty of space for 2 queens in the 2 double rooms. Resort has great amenities and its own beach but food and drinks are way overpriced.

The room was not in good condition. It had not been dusted, the handle to the sliding glass door was almost completely off, one light didn't work and the iron was broken so it leaked all over. In addition, we were not able to get into our room until almost 2 hours after check-in. Staff was pleasant.

The room was dirty inside the closet, the carpet as well as the coffee pot when we arrived. After housekeeping cleaned, all of those items were still dirty and we did not receive fresh towels.

My flight was canceled and needed some R & R....B Ocean was perfect! It's isuch a wonderful hotel with fabulous amenities! Love the pool and beach lounge chairs with an umbrella! Love beach side snack bar for a cool refreshing beverage! The mermaids and live music on Saturday night was fun! My ocean view room I loved ,too! Thank you for making my time there feel so good! I hope to come back!
