When you call yourself a resort, you really should have resort type offerings for the price per night. Tiki Hut wasn’t open and opened late when it was. No night time entertainment. It could have been so much better.
Great pool and a short walk to a beautiful beach chairs and towels provided. Restaurant service was fine. Room was clean, large, and quite. The only reason I would not give this resort hotel an excellent rating is because your check in morning person was either having a bad day or just isn’t friendly. She told us very little about what we needed to know and luckily the rest of your staff was wonderful.
Nice place to stay
I way 150 lbs. I sunk so far down into my bed that I couldn't even get out. I'm not kidding#. I sank down no less than 8". Other than that, everything was very good. But, sleeping was terrible.
I booked a suite on orbits and when I arrived they didn’t have what I booked but still had a “very nice room” for me aka the regular king and couldn’t refund me the difference in fees because I booked with a third party. I was told my resort fee would be waved. I was assuming they meant for the entire stay but at checkout I was let know it was waved for one night ????? The staff at the restaurant was wonderful but the hours were extremely limited. Cleanliness was an issue in the room (pubic hairs on the wall in the shower) and if you think the stories on the other reviews are excessive about the lack of towels you are dead wrong. If you ask for an extra towel they act like you’re asking for the world (two per room as is where it’s typically 4 everywhere eise I stay) I was extra annoyed/bothered on the second day there when a girl at the bar was showing us pictures of the guy who had either been murdered or committed suicide with a gun in the restaurant patio the night before.
Property is nice but. We had outlets that did not work, lights that were out and the shower was yucky.
Too many additional fees that were not disclosed during checking in. I had to pay fees for many services covered in other hotels' daily rates. Room Cleaning fees and many other fees were charged to my credit card.
Location, Location is everything to us and this property offered it all. The staff is great and the property is well maintained. We were there to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. Couldn't pick a better place to do it!
When we needed anything items we had to go downstairs to the front desk.
I’m pretty sure they had prostitution going on along with drug activity. Would have been nice to know I was gonna have to pay resort fee every night for each room on top of valet. I should have stayed at real resort for that price. You couldn’t take any snacks or drinks to the pool only because they wanted to sell you overpriced food and drinks. We had a coffee and soda for $15.00?
The bathroom door didn’t work. The bathroom was terrible and disgusting. The balcony door was broken.
Great staff and great location
Not a true resort. It’s more of an extended stay motel converted into a “resort” with the DoubleTree branding.
