Charming, cheerful, and absolutely full of color, this oceanfront home in Folly Beach provides gorgeous views of the ocean and a fresh, unique ambience. Ideally situated right on the beach with private walkover access, this triplex home is made up of a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom upstairs and two separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom condos downstairs, with each of the three spaces offering its own kitchen and living room. It's the perfect spot for an extended family, a group of surfers, or anyone in search of beachfront fun. As you stroll back up from the beach each afternoon, you'll be greeted by outdoor showers (with hot water), expansive deck space, an outdoor bar, grills, a hammock, and a firepit. Inside, there's a private washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi, a Bluetooth stereo system, a Smart TV, and Sealy Posturepedic mattresses in each of the bedrooms.

Great house and location

We had a fabulous stay at Funky Folly! The house was even better than the pictures. It was in a great location, the outdoor spaces and outdoor shower made access to the beach and clean up after a breeze. We loved having many options for places to hang out on the various decks and used the fire pit for smores. The house was set with dishes, kitchen utensils and all we needed to prepare meals. We had adult children with plus a couple bonus “kids” and the two units downstairs worked perfect for them. The location on the beach was great and we rented a golf cart and bikes to get around Folly. Parking is limited in town, so it’s a great way to get around. We would definitely stay at Funky Folly again!

Great Location

Loved our 5 night stay! 9 of us ladies got together and really enjoyed the property and location. Vacasa responded great to the issues we had with the cleanliness. The beach was an absolute treat to just walk out! Will come back someday

Very Fun House Right On The Beach

We rented this house for a week for my extended family and everyone had a great time. Made great use of the firepit, outdoor bar/grill area, upper deck, and of course great access to the beach. The two bedroom areas downstairs have private entrances which was convenient. Cleaning crews came during the week to clean the exterior and take garbage containers to/from the street. Already booked again for next summer.

Funky Folly Fantastic!!!

We have been coming to Folly beach for many years with our kids who are now 20, 18, and 15 and meet another family whose kids are 23,22,20, and 18. This house was absolutely perfect for a vacation with older kids. The 2 sets of parents stayed upstairs in the main house with the youngest girls (15 and 18). The others stayed downstairs and basically had their own place- but was just downstairs from us. The outdoor bar and lower deck area provided entertainment for us every evening without worrying about where the 20 somethings were until late at night. It was absolutely a blast!! The upstairs house has been newly updated and was perfectly comfortable for us to prepare meals for everyone and play games when we had a little rain. Highly recommend this gem. We'll definitely be back!!

Funky Folly was the perfect name

We enjoyed our stay at Funky Folly. The house needs some updating. It was very clean though. The management company was great. Perfect location. Right on the beach. Very quiet. It was nice to have private space for everyone.

Downstairs is a dungeon

Upstairs was fine with miner issues view was great. Downstairs you could not pay me to sleep there with the smell. My teenagers didn’t even like it however they had no choice.

Fabulous family vacation

Awesome experience! The property shows it age in some places, but overall it was fantastic and exactly as presented on line. This was the first time we have rented a beach house, and can’t believe how easy the whole process was. No stress, no surprises, just instant relaxation! The layout of the home and deck was perfect for our family of 8, plus Grandma. The house had everything we needed to cook, and play, and relax, and just enjoy our time together. Such a fun place to stay on a great slice of beach! We would definitely come back!
