We spent the night of 2 February, 2018 at this Inn and were very impressed with all the staff members we encountered from the time we checked in to breakfast the next morning. Everyone was cheerful, courteous, and professional. The room was spacious and well arranged with comfortable furniture. We will definitely choose to stay in a Residence Inn again. I would especially recommend it if you need to stay for a few days and would like to be able to prepare some meals in.

Room was nice. They tried updating it a bit that I could tell but it was clean. Wasn't what I requested but that was Expedia's fault & mine for not re-checking the itinerary. They were willing to put me up in another hotel but we had traveled a long way & gotten there late so we made due. Felt safe there & it was quiet. Walked down the hall to our room & heard a dog bark. Hotel is pet friendly & non-smoking. Couldn't help to think maybe a dog, at some point, may have slept in that bed. Don't know exactly how that works. I'm not an animal lover like that. Full excellent breakfast! Had a dog in the breakfast area (not an assistance dog). I'm not an animal lover like that. Friendly & polite staff.

Stopped on the way south on 95. Very close to the exit. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Many restaurants near the hotel. Nice having breakfast included, which allowed for an early start in the morning.

The room we stayed in at this hotel looks like it has been recently updated. It was tastefully decorated and offered a full kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, with nice pillows and bedding. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and experienced a quick smooth check-in. The location was very close to several nice, moderately priced restaurants, so we were able to have a nice dinner at the end of a long day's drive. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Stopped here on our way to Florida. Have to say I was very impressed with the inn. Marriott is well represented in the area. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The park next door was a real treat and a fitting tribute to our armed services. The staff was very nice and polite and the breakfast was terrific. No cardboard plates in this place. Lol The women who worked the breakfast were fantastic. The plates clean as a whistle. Was so impressed that I may go for a Marriott Rewards Card. Will look for Residence inn when we travel. Full size refrigerator was a bonus because we travel with food and drinks.

Got stuck on 95 in a snow storm and this hotel was the perfect haven for the night. Pet friendly, great breakfast, fireplaces in the rooms, plenty of parking, and super friendly staff. We were lucky to get such an amazing place to stay and get off the road for the night.

When travelling from Virginia to Florida, we usually stay at the Residence Inn off Interstate 95 & 20 in Florence. The hotel has been modernized with soft grey colors. The reception area was just recently renovated which was nice but could have been better. The rooms are great. We have stayed there 4 or 5 times over the past 4 months driving back and forth to / from Florida.

I used my Marriott points for this room and couldn’t be happier I didn’t spend any money on the worst night of sleep. first of all you can tell it’s been renovated and looks nice. They forgot to replace the pillows that had been there for 20 years along with the mattress. Also the room I was in 206 has a courtyard lamp parallel to the window. As much as I finagled the blinds it still lit up the room which kept me up all night.

Absolutely the best stop on our road trip..rooms are prefect and the recent Reno works only kicks it up a notch. New hallway lights, carpet adds up. Breakfast is a true delight. Lots of choices, hot and cold, with a great waitstaff overseeing the process. As good as it can on the I-95 corridor.....home away from home...

This place – our second visit in the last 6 months – is everything you want a hotel to be: clean, quiet, functional and friendly. Special thanks for the Marriott Rewards royal treatment from Justin and LaShala. And don’t miss adjacent to the hotel is a beautiful and oh-so-tranquil memorial gardens to our fallen soldiers. It is not to be missed. The workout room is very well-appointed, including free weights up to 50 pounds and a doctor’s scale. Outdoor pool and hot-tub are wonderful, with towels aplenty poolside. Breakfast is the usual tasty Residence Inn fare – especially with their signature hand-packed yogurts. Fresh bananas, too.
