We had a very nice stay at the W. We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday and enjoyed the Living Room Bar as well. Room was nice, clean and comfy. Hotel was clean and accommodating. We had a room with a nice large patio but it was too cold to enjoy unfortunately. Beds were comfortable and the shower/bath was nice with waterfall effect shower head. Bathroom set up was different since its open to the bedroom but there are curtains that separate if you choose to close it off. We self parked across the street in the parking garage which was cheaper than valet parking.

We were celebrating our anniversary and my husband asked them to surprise us with something nice. The front desk girl said she would and didn't do anything. Also, they had no king size beds and did nothing to offer an upgrade. Glass was broken in our room so we asked them to clean it up and Instead of vacuuming it up they just swept it up and glass was still left everywhere. They did nothing to make anything up to us and didn't even ask how out stay was upon checking out. Horrible service for such and expensive 5 star hotel. Will never stay at again.

Perfect Location for a visiting for a Stars Game, literally walk across the street.

Great location with a fantastic view. Hotel amenities are good and staffs are really nice. It was worth it!!

Experience was great. The hotel is beautiful and very good location.Only thing was the pool is really nice but can't always get sun because of how it was built.

I'd read some reviews prior to booking that knocked the staff for being rude or not attentive. This was my primary concern. At every turn I was surprised at how great the staff was - from the valets, to the front desk to the anywhere anytime desk. I asked for a lot and I really did get everything I asked for, quickly. I was impressed. I even lost my phone and the staff found it and returned it to me. Other than that, location is perfect and rooms are standard W quality. Wet pool was packed and a great time was had by all. Service was surprisingly great there too (bars are rarely great). If they keep the service level up to what I experienced, you can't miss at this hotel as a choice.

Went for a 40th birthday, hotel was clean, trendy and staffed well. Downstairs bar was excellent and park was central to building.

I loved my stay!!! The view was beautiful and the hotel staff were extra friendly.

Across the street from American Airlines Center, however hotel was very expensive with fewer amenities than other hotels downtown.

THe W Hotel is a great place to stay. Amazing views of downtown Dallas day or night. Close to Victory Park for the games. Best part is the heated pool on the 16th floor.

The hotel was beautiful, can't say anything bad about it.

Cool hotel, but I went there to get a good nights rest. That didn't happen. I had to call front desk 2 times for loud, door slamming guests down the hall. They were having a party in the hallway. After a call @ 12.30am and @ 3:30am they finally evicted them. They only refunded my parking as I left @ 7am for my meeting super tired. Cool place but they like the party crowd too much.

We checked in Friday later afternoon and received excellent service. Our room was on the top floor and it was awesome. The beds are very comfortable and couldn't ask for a better nights sleep. We asked about a place for dinner and reservations and car was ordered for us. They called and gave us the confirmation, however when we went out to where we were to picked up we were told our name was not on the list. We waited about 20 minutes while they scrambled to find us another ride. It seemed to go downhill from there. I would think that an upscale Hotel such as the W would provide at least complmentary coffee in the morning. Every time I turned around we were being charged for something extra. The spa was wonderful, a must visit. The pool area gorgeous, just wish they didn't close it at dusk it would be a perfect place to go and have a glass of wine away from the bar scene. We will probably find a different hotel next year when we make our yearly trip to Texas.

This hotel was amazing it had more then I expected it is a safe place to come, and there staff is amazing!!!! I will defiantly come back

It worked out great for us because we were going to a Dallas Stars game. It's also good to get a room so you can have access to GhostBar on a Saturday night. It's not cheap, but the location for a sporting event is good and the staff in GhostBar are great. We had a great time and I can recommend it!

I was expecting a lot from the hotel since it was the W. The whole hotel was uncomfortably freezing. The restaurant s were not that great and the service was just OK. The room was ok as well. The electrical outlets did not work so I could not charge my phone. the only plug that did work was the one mounted on the small space by the bath tub. Which seems dangerous. The beds were awesome of course. and the Valet was very nice. the Concierge however was no help with recommending dinner option around area. I just felt they could have stepped it up.

The entire experience at the W was great. Everyone from the valets to the front desk was very helpful. The room was nice and very clean. My view from the hotel was not quiet the skyline view I had paid for but it was still a very nice room. I was weary at first of this hotel because of other reviews about the service but for me it was a wonderful time. The perfect place to stay if you are attending an event at the American Airlines Center. I would stay here again.

The W has an amazing pool, very comfortable rooms and food/service to die for.

enjoy lotte

We used the W Dallas as our honeymoon hotel. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very helpful and upgraded my room. After we arrived at the hotel that night afterward our wedding, she had champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries sent up with a customized card. Very impressive. The only lame parts were the $24/day valet parking and $10/day internet (really?). Next time, we'll have to sample Craft and/or Ghost Bar.
