The decor of this hotel was really fun, and I had an awesome omelet in their restaurant. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Dallas!

This is a cute little hotel with the friendliest staff. Great location even if you are not visiting SMU.

Dark, worn down, add on costs for everything, can hear everything from your room,

staying in dallas for business . great location, modern room, fantastic staff, took one of the hotels bikes to explore the neighborhood... only negative is that pick up and drop off can get a little backed up in regards to valet

Great location accross the street from SMU. 15 minute cab ride to Love Field. Very clean hotel, friendly staff. On-site restaurant had excellent food. The pool area is nicer than most, resort looking in decore....I'll bring a suit next time. only surprise was the business center didn't have free access (even just to print a boarding pass). This was a non-event for me. at the room price, they should include some business center time. Definately would stay again.

Awesome balcony!!!!!!!!! Loved the large suit I stayed in with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed ourselves I would say overall it was a 10

I booked this hotel since I had business at SMU, right across the street. Everything was great, and I recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the Park Cities section of Dallas.

We stayed one night at the Lumen - we were going to a concert just down the road. Very clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

The room was small but comfortable and came with bathrobes and a mini bar, but no microwave or coffeemaker.

This great little treasure is hidden in the North Dallas area, literally looking over the campus of SMU. It has the unique, boutique feel of all Kimpton hotels I have stayed in. Incredible staff! Beautiful, trendy lobby and pool area. A great restaraunt/bar! I will stay there again for the Krispy Kream Bread pudding alone! My only negative is my room did not have a window. I do not think this the case with all of the rooms so I will definitely ask when making future reservations. I will stay here again!

This is another great Kimpton Hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic location. Fun and funky decor at a very good price. I will definitely return. My only bit of displeasure was that the restaurant/bar closed at 11:00 on a Saturday night! Got to fix that!!

Beautiful! not a family hotel but great for single and couples

The hotel served it's purpose for it's close location to our family we were visiting. There was construction going on to expand the hotel.

Great experience. No hassle at check-in, quick check-out. Clean rooms, very stylish. Felt like W style at half the cost and without techno in the elevators at 6 in the morning.

This hotel only has one thing going for it - location. Its too expensive otherwise. The Hampton Inn I stayed in the night before was way better. At the Hampton there was a decent breakfast. This place only had coffe and tea. What a joke! Never going to stay here again.

A friend of mine booked the hotel. It is a very nice hotel if you dont want to see anybody and just there for business. Clean, professional and the beds are comfortable. But...... The only thing I didnt like was the fact that they have NO POOL there. You can go a mile and a half up the avenue to another hotel from the same change to go into it,, but,, no thank you. Plus, the check in girl that worked at the desk, [...], had an awesome Megan Fox combination of blue eyes and black hair. Also, what I like is during the wine hour they have a wii set that you can play. Yes,, I took advantage of it for one boxing match then I left to go to town

The Lumen is, as are most Kimpton hotels, unique and friendly. The room was large, creative and crisp. The staff were helpful and personable. It's a terrific location right next to SMU campus. The value is exceptional.

Fabulous large room, quiet, great bathroon, service exceptional, greeting excellent, valet service quick, desk area great for work, MOST IMPORTANT it was a 10-15 minute drive to all appointments. Cafe Latte in room at end of evening was bliss.
