Fabulous room with complete kitchen where we were able to use the convection oven to make pizza, saute veggies, and other dishes. Housekeeping were terrific cleaning on a daily basis. Location was perfect near great parks, aquarium, the galleria. We'll stay again!

Room 117 is just plain awful and is really rough consisting. Upon opening the door it smelt like mold/mildew, the baseboard with the TV on it has what looks to be mold/mildew on it, the bathroom cabinet front right corner is basically gone due to I would assume from being continuously wet. I do have the pictures if you’d like to see them.

The building is need of renovations because the interior is quite outdated for a Hyatt. The staff were friendly. Breakfast options and its taste was mediocre at best. My room was in okay condition. The room was clean and spacious. However, there was a noticeable, unpleasant smell in the room. The room finishes were very outdated and old looking and the room definitely needs to be updated to be more in line with a typical Hyatt. I would not recommend and would not stay here again, there is likely better options for a similar price range.

Upon first entering the room I went straight to the window, sure it must be open by how loud the outside traffic was. No, window was closed, just so thin that you could hear every tire on the asphalt outside. All through the night. In addition to the blaring road noise, there was a dirty towel with coffee stains left on the table as well. Staff was friendly enough, offered free waters, but I will definitely not be returning.

It was like the freeway was living next to my room. The beds were not comfortable. Mattress was not firm at all, leading to rolling with every movement. Overall not a great experience. Staff was super nice, the rooms need upgrades and attention.

Lackadaisical Maids taking loud long personal phone calls in hall outside room Morning staff sitting in breakfast area talking loud enough to be heard over entire restaurant. Not seen that before. Hotel out of bottled water? Leaving hotel all three staff at front desk on their phones. Never looked up or acknowledged our leaving. It is fantastic 8 Days Inn but a dreadful Hilton. They should start over or remove the flag.
