DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas - Market Center

The hotel was nice, but the neighborhood was not very safe. There was a strip club located right across the street and others just down the block. The pool was small. The decor is dated and one of the elevators was out of service. The carpet on the 9th floor looks worn. There were dishes sitting in the hallway for all three days we visited.

the hotel itself was fine, but the wifi was awful. I had to use my cell phone hotspot to get better speed. If you need to work while there, just be aware the wifi didnt work from: 1. the room. 2. the gym. 3. the dining area thats my 2 cents.

Hotel was great for the price. Clean, friendly, and has a really nice outdoor pool area.

The property itself needs updating/renovation. Everything like fixtures, carpet, wallpaper....looks old and beat up. I have stayed at several Doubletrees and this one was in the worst condition. Lately, they are having trouble with main elevators....only one was working and it stopped on floors randomly and alarmed constantly. Don't get a room near the elevators. Breakfast was ok with fresh fruit and berries...all staff were kind and helpful.

We were in the Dallas area for 2 weeks plus. Although the staff was outstanding (friendly, helpful, etc.), we ended up moving after a few days. We had a corner room with two double or queen sized beds. The windows were not clean, which gave a gloomy aura to the room when we opened the curtains. Wasps flew inside when we opened the balcony. It seemed very expensive for that room and we ended up moving to a hotel for the same price which is connected to the Galleria Mall. For the same price that room was much bigger, cleaner and offered a great place to do our morning walk, get coffee and shop. I think the Double Tree by Hilton in Dallas would be okay for someone attending a 2/3 day convention at the nearby Market Center, and receiving a corporate discount. The breakfast was great, but there again, it was not included with our room.

The building is old and our room was small; bathroom really small. Cons first: Bathtub did not drain well, stood in ankle deep water while showering, they did comp our breakfast the day we left though. Couldn't get the temperature to regulate at a decent temp while still wanting the fan to blow for white noise. Toilet had the standard gas station toilet with the big side metal handle on the side. No vent in bathroom, really made the room humid. Pros: Love their cookies. Comfy bed and pillows, and sheets. Fluffy towels, new amenities and furniture. The shuttle driver was prompt and courteous. Good breakfast with an omelet station. Very clean.

Great location to airport, uptown and the mavs arena.

We were in town for a business function at a time when there were multiple major sports events in Dallas. Rates were quite high. Relative to what we had read online and the rate we were paying, this was a very average hotel experience. The property is fairly dated. The lobby was loud and crowded. No common area appropriate for a business conversation. Elevators were small and slow. Didn't even get the signature Doubletree cookies. The area of town is centrally located for business events at the Market Center but it is not a walking area of town so be aware that you will need to take a cab/car to get to restaurants or shopping needs.

I was in town for pride of Dallas , the staff was nice and helpful , my room was very comfortable & clean .

The hotel staff were nice and attentive. I requested a high-floor view and was accommodated well. The location is a little away from downtown, not in walking distance so it's off of city noise at night. It's quiet and relaxing at night.

I attended an event around the corner from the hotel and it was easy and accessible. Traffic was easy and over all a great experience.

Room was nice and clean. Had to request that several pillows be replaced because they had a bad odor. Assigned handicapped room with no bath tub when one was not requested. Excellent staff.

The staff was sooo.accomodating and the room was so quiet and comfortable:)

friendly staff - great location. quiet & clean - great for business.

There was absolutely nothing that this staff would not have done to make our stay at this hotel the very best that it could have been. They covered every need that we had with a smile.

The hotel has done some slight renovation to the rooms. Decor and shower heads have been updated but it is an older property. Lower ceilings and small bathrooms. If you are looking for a clean room with nice staff near downtown Dallas at a decent rate then this is a good selection. After speaking with others I certainly had a lower rate than anyone else especially during several huge conferences taking place.

Stayed there to see doctors at UT SOUTHWESTERN. Hotel was very convenient. Only problem we had was my daughter had problems walking and front entrance only way in without walking stairs and it was congested with cars, shuttle buses & taxis. Room was very clean & comfortable. Front staff very nice.

The hotel was located fairly close to the downtown convention center. The front desk welcomed us with warm cookies and great smiles! We had a difficult flight so the staff made sure that we had a relaxing evening by answering our questions in great detail. The room was amazing: Comfortable beds, high end bedding, and excellent décor. We will definitely stay at this Double Tree when visiting Dallas Texas. .

Staff was very friendly from check in and check out. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Loved the warm cookies upon check in but the dryer was out so I had to ask twice for towels.
