It is not a smoke-free hotel. As soon as you walk in to get checked in, the smell of marijuana is strong, and it is throughout the entire hotel. The room was musty, and we had roaches on the wall, but it was clean.

Was given a nonsmoking room that smelled entirely of cigarettes as soon as you walked in. The air conditioner was rattling loudly the whole time it was on so we ended up leaving it off. Our keys didn’t work for the outdoor entrances or for our room, had to continue asking the front desk to fix them. The pool was closed for maintenance the majority of our stay. The entire hotel seemed worn down in general. It wasn’t the worst experience but not the best either. Usually have good experiences at Candlewood but wouldn’t come back to this one.

Was given room 110 which must be the absolute worst room in the place, ground floor, directly adjacent to the highway and the windows were so paper thin they felt open. There is a strip club in the parking lot which also goes all night. This is in a bad neighborhood, paid $156 USD and was given this awful room which though clean was absolutely like sleeping outside next to the highway. Do not book here!
