It was a nice hotel to see the riverview close to many things to do

Great view of the marina

Rooms are in desperate need of upgrades. All the carpets need to be replaced. But I did see rolls of new carpet

Nice view of marina and water from our balcony. Easy parking. easy access to downtown and Folly Beach

I was very pleased with the property. There was a scheduling snafu and work had booked us a hotel, after I had purchased this one with no refund. For about a week I was upset that I wasted $350. After checking into the other hotel as it was closer to where we needed to be, we quickly decided to take a look at this one. This hotel was FAR better than the other and we happily traveled a little farther to stay here. Plus, we liked the location better compared to downtown Chas. We had a nice stay and would stay here again.

We enjoy the property being next to the marina. We asked for 2 queen beds and were told they were queen beds. However they were smaller probably full size beds. Very disappointing and hard to sleep on.

Not much. Only had one elevator working during our 4 day stay. It deterred me from going out . I have a handicap and can not stand to long

This property seemed and looked very lovely. Once checked into our room it smelled so bad of must and mold that we got headaches. They even had a moisture bag hanging behind the couch trying to disguise the smell. When asked for another room we were placed in the room next door which smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. We were told that no other rooms were available. Went out and bought air freshener spray and other air fresheners to survive the smell. Our hair even smelled of smoke once we left the room. It was not a pleasant experience!

This was my 2nd time staying here. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Good complimentary breakfast every morning. Cool staff. My go to hotel for Charleston.

Hotel was super clean & the staff was friendly & helpful. Great location right on the harbor. It’s a 10 minute drive from French Quarter, King Street etc. Would definitely recommend.

The gym

Dirty, spiderwebs in the room, didn't clean room, tv not working during the whole stay. Location across the river from downtown only way to get there by car

My room was clean, close to elevators and ice machine.

Nice place to stay

My room was not ready due some guests stayed until they had to kick them out. Housekeeping had left and the manager was cleaning the room. I asked for another room was told they were booked up. The desk person didn't know what to do. We did not get into another room until 7:30 pm. A small discount was taken off but not to my satisfaction. The room was overwhelmed with some kind of spray. I had to check out early because of my travel schedule. I will not stay at another one of these properties.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had two queen beds that were very comfortabe. There was lots of storage space with a nice sized closet and lots of drawers. It included a sitting area with a desk and sofa and a TV. There was lots of space for snacks, a fridge, keurig coffee maker, a microwave and a sink . The bathroom vanity had lots of room for your things and there is a tub/toilet in a separate room. The water pressure was good and had nice thick towels. We had a water view that looked over the bridge, the Holiday Inn was right there, but you could still see the water and boats. The ac unit worked well. There was also another TV where the two beds were. The room was clean except for the nasty old carpet, but I don't think they could do much better with it. You could tell the room was a little dated. They did serve a bagged breakfast each morning with coffee and juice. The staff was exceptionally nice. Cons: When you walked in our room, all you could smell was smoke and it was overpowering. The carpet was really gross, Location: it was tricky to get to the hotel and you felt like you were going in circles to get to anywhere. No where close by to eat. Breakfast was the same thing every day. Because of the smoke smell and location, I would not stay there again.
