All night every night loud people in the hallways running up and down till 3:30 in the morning each night we stayed. Breakfast was not good at all.

Property was overall very good. Room was nice and clean. Hallway carpets need a good cleaning...pretty soiled/stained. Breakfast was good overall but I love waffles and the super sweet pecan and sugar waffles were not. Wish they would offer regular as well. Also needed was more luggage carts. 2 was the most that I saw on site the entire stay. All in all everything there was good and I would definitely consider staying there again.

The location is perfect. Easy access to all parts of Charleston. Room was a little dirty, stained sheets and the floors were gross. Older building but overall would consider staying again depending on price just because of the location.

The hallways left something to be desired/there was a slight smell, however I think it just may be in need of an upgrade because the room was phenomenal. It more than exceeded our expectations and was very clean and modern looking compared to the hallway like i said. The room we got had a balcony with a beautiful view of the marina which was a nice surprise. The elevator was a little slow, but that is not a big deal just an observation. If I return to Charleston I would certainly book here again.

We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s been years, since we have been displeased with a hotel. We had to change rooms twice because of a problem. The first room had mold and the bathroom paint job was terrible. I could see patches of paint in the bath tub. The second room we moved to (within 1hr of check in), my husband woke up and there was water all over the floor, some type of leakage. We are now moving again to another room. The carpet in the hallways needs to be replaced because of the smell. The bathtubs in all 3 rooms were painted spotty therefore they need to be replaced. We were not compensated at all. We were suppose to receive 10,000 points and didn’t receive anything. We need to be compensated either by a refund or a free night stay. I will be following up on this.

smaller hotel, which I liked, convenient location for our trip to St. James island and folly beach area, stayed 2 nights, the place was great. safe, and clean with good staff. Nice water view with boats and a few under building parking spaces out of the weather. Go ahead and book it you will enjoy.
