Great location a block from the busy King Street with shops, coffee, and restaurants all around. The Inn has a cute, chic Charleston vibe with daily wine and cheese hour. Breakfast was simple but consistent and had hot foods included. Night one, we had a cockroach crawling up one of the beds and on the mattress. Not pleasant to see. The hot tub was a draw for us and a nice way to wind down but water temp (88) was more like a warm pool. Unpleasant when corrections were given to staff within earshot of numerous guests in the lobby. Rooms clean and nicely furnished with comfortable beds.

It was good! There was an unusual dripping sound when we would run the faucet. Sounds like it was in the pipes in the walls. It rained one night and there was an annoying dripping sound as well but we never found any leaks. King size suite is definitely not a king size bed. It was a nice stay but we would choose somewhere else next time.

Very homey little inn. Friendly staff and nice & cozy lobby to have a conversation with other guests. I would definitely stay again. Great variety for breakfast with healthy options of Greek yogurt and whole fruit. Really nice staff. Evening wine & cheese reception ant 5 pm and warm cookies at 8 pm nightly. Such a nice touch. Ideal central location for walking to sites.

We have stayed here several times and keep coming back. Location is ideal for walking to restaurants and sites. We love the pretty courtyard and hot tub. Staff is very friendly. We were disappointed that they charge a fee ($35?) for early check in. If the room is ready, it costs you nothing to let us in early but creates a negative vibe to charge a fee (which we chose not to do).

A couple employees were not so friendly. Remotes were broken for tv and heater. To many foreigners working there. Charleston is the south!! Rather have good southern Americans working at that old style theme hotel. Let’s not forget our history!!
