Beautiful property with a lovely courtyard. Breakfast has a lot of options (but go early!). Rooms are really quiet. Personally I love the traditional decor and the four poster beds. The toiletries are nice - the soap smells wonderful!

I didn’t like the parking facilities and the glasses in the room were dirty!

We stayed at the meeting street in 31 years ago for our honeymoon. It is a quaint hotel with an old Charleston flair. Parking is not convenient but the hotel provided shuttles to and from the lot. The wine and cheese in the evening was a nice treat. They also provided a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely.

Great location and spacious rooms. Needs memory foam mattresses.

Loved the location, the decor, the early evening snacks and wine, and the staff.

Grand old mansion. Must be very difficult to keep up. Loved the four poster beds. Helpful young crew, eager but not very experienced yet. Decent breakfast. Very good wine reception.

Very nice charming hotel. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Wine and cheese hour was very nice and tastefully done. Outstanding location in the heart of downtown Charleston. We will definitely be back.

Our stay was very nice in this conveniently located hotel in the Historic District of Charleston. The room was very clean and attractive and the staff was hospitable. We enjoyed the daily wine and cheese provided and were delighted with the café area and warm day. I'd watch for the better pricing opportunities, but I'd gladly stay again.

Very clean quaint pretty hotel in a great location. The room was very Victorian and clean. The breakfast was quite delicious and a lot of good food. Not just a simple continental breakfast. And the 5pm wine and cheese reception hour at five was just delightful!

Great historic hotel in the heart of the historic district. Great breakfast. Wine and cheese every night. Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Service was excellent.

Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Room full of period antiques. Within walking distance of area attractions and restaurants. This is a great place to stay!

Lovely and fantastic location. Located just across from the city market, many great restaurants within walking distance.

Close to everything. Quaint and cozy. Nice breakfast.
