Location, staff, hotel design- everything is great. I was there during remodeling but I’m impressed anyway

Adorable place! Breakfast outside was great. All the staff are friendly, smiling and helpful

Helpful staff, great location. Some rooms need of updating.

Breakfast was not a breakfast. It was just a continental breakfast with sealed and bought bagels, muffins, juice and coffee. The 5:00 pm reception was wine, snacks, nibbles and olives and gherkins. What a welcome indeed. Then my bill charged $44 for other charges. There was no explanation. While we may go to Charleston many time over the next couple of years, we will be looking for alternative deals. It appears that this hotel is relying on its reputation and location but please fix the elevators so that they arrive at your floor without the “bump “.

Property had a great location; enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon snacks. Pretty quiet. Very accessible. Parking was a couple of blocks away.

Great place to stay in a central location. Walk To everything. Freshly painted exterior. Very friendly staff. Nice continental breakfast and even wine and cheese offering. They don’t have any sanitizer out by the food so you may want to bring your own. Hot tub was nice and clean. Patio is lovely. Bed was too soft for my liking but we spun the mattress around And it was much better. Our queen room had a nice historic charm. Some ceiling plaster needs repair but that’s to be expected in an old building. Great value over all.

Great location. Staff outstanding. Extremely friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff

So convenient to everything you want to see in Charleston. Walkable to the City Market, dining of all kinds, and tours. Short drive to Rainbow Row, Magnolia Plantation and USS Yorktown. The Inn is so quaint and beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside was the bathroom was quite outdated, however everything worked just fine. I would definitely stay here again!

Location and the ambiance

The inn is beautiful. The lobby is very cozy and the staff was so kind and friendly. The courtyard is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere of Charleston. The location is perfect- walkable to many of Charleston’s top attractions. I really enjoyed the cheese plate that was offered in the afternoon. The room, while comfortable, was dated. The bathroom needed a refresh. My biggest concern was parking. Parking costs $20 a night and is a surface level lot down the street behind the restaurant called Fig.

We enjoyed the old feel of the hotel and the staff we excellent.

It was a great location. We could walk to everything.

Amazing stay! And amazing location! We loved how friendly everyone at the hotel was!

Age of property was interesting gave a feeling of being back in time.

Nice place to stay in the right spot. Outstanding staff. Quiet

The facility was very nice. Staff was awesome. Will go again

Beautiful place to stay! Location was great right in the center of everything.

I would be happy to look at the $44 if you want to call with your last name. I apologize for the unpleasant experience and thank you for your honest feedback.
