The facility was very nice. Staff was awesome. Will go again

Beautiful place to stay! Location was great right in the center of everything.

The "French Quarter" theme was evident and welcomed at the hotel. I could not understand why the tv's were so small and sound like a radio. I had my room changed because the tv did not work. The bathrooms needed updating. The dispenser for the toilette paper was rusting and needed replacement. The lobby was warm and inviting.

Wonderful setting. Old charm that is exactly what we wanted!

Very quaint & friendly staff. We had a great time in Charleston & will stay again at this inn again.

the property has still preserved the early 1900 century furniture, reception , room décor, beds, and the ambiance which I liked very much.

Stayed here before and loved it. Will stay again. You can walk to many places and it is right by the market. Bed was great.

A unique historic hotel downtown Charleston in very good condition considering it’s age! Loved the ambiance, friendly, helpful staff. Lovely hot shower every time and very clean, all round.

The location was perfect. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and they have a social every night. The patio area was super cute.

It was a charming inn and true to the 1800 time period. We had great fun with Darren at the front desk. He was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean but could use some new paint. The refreshments in the afternoon were good and we spoke to some very nice people. Good selection for breakfast and the coffee was good. It was close to everything for us so we got our exercise. I would stay there again.

The property location was excellent. The room was great. The complimentary breakfast was good. The only problem we encountered was the elevator near the reception area was broken the whole time we were there. Our room was located in the front and we had to walk to the rear of the property to get that elevator and then walk to the front again. When we asked about it we were told it would cost more to have the repair done on the weekend.

Overall property was cozy and very welcoming. I especially enjoyed the staff. On the negative side, a lot of the maintenance/painting was poorly done and did not show the care I would expect from the personnel at the Inn.

It is an old historic place with a certain charm but it is very down at heel and not well kept. I saw a cockroach in the paving outside the elevator. Of course you can't expect Hyatt Regency type fittings in a place that's 150 years old, but it could do with a good clean However the staff were all lovely and attentive and personable

It had a peculiar smell in the lobby and in the room( old property) Room had AC which was making very loud sound off and on to a point that it was hard to sleep. Parking was very far.
