Convenience , staff was very helpful, friendly . I would definitely go back.

Proximity to historic district was good and closeness to many shops and nightlife.

Great location! I was able to walk to almost everything downtown.

Location close to King St, CofC, other downtown areas but separate. Staff had very positive and helpful attitudes towards requests and general interactions.

Was located close to everything. Staff was excellent and did everything to make our stay comfortable

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Perfect location and great amenities. Valet parking is expensive but parking on the street overnight is free and safe.

Bed and sheets were top of the line. The room was extra clean and the smell of chlorinated sheets was the best. Good in room coffee but no microwave however.

-Pleasant hotel. Clean, comfortable, within walking distance to historic district and all the sites. -daughter had her Beats headphones stolen from room, and despite very helpful staff, they never turned up and nothing could be done. This was a big downer

First time staying there.. it was clean the staff were very friendly and accodateing and location was good.. The only thing i had a problem with is that, the hotel charges you to park your car there. I feel that if your spending over $200.00 a night for a room, why should we have to pay for parking @ $23.00 per day.. I feel a continental breakfast or even a free cup a coffee should be given.. I had to pay for a morning coffee $2.75... But all an all had a good stay..

The hotel is situated just a couple blocks from the Visitors Center, which made it easy to get information quickly and to have access to buses and DASH (free shuttle). Though the hotel was near the far end of the peninsula, we were able to walk the entire length of the city including all the way down to Battery Park. We walked everywhere for the entire week, except for one bus tour to a plantation. We had a fabulous time in Charleston -- great history, architecture, food and even, surprisingly, craft brews. The restaurants on King Street, as well as Meeting Street, were plentiful, varied, and of good quality. Near by, don't miss 39 Rue de Jean on John Street for wonderful French cuisine.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend. It was nice to be near King street and Meeting street. It is well kept. Not the cleanest hotel ever, but fairly good. Great valet service. Decent breakfast and dinner menus. It is close to restaurants and shopping a few minutes walk. Farther if you want to go to the Charleston City Market. Overall a pleasant experience.

Whenever we go to Charleston we choose to stay at this hotel. It's in a perfect location near the center of town. The hotel staff are always courteous and go out of their way to make each stay better than the last. We've stayed their so often that they treat us like family.

The location was perfect and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, but the cleaning service I found lacking. When we came back from a day of touring, our beds weren't made. The maid left a note saying that they didn't make the beds because of some personal items were on the bed, which was untrue. But even it it was true, move the items to the nightstand and make the beds, like they do in other hotels.

The hotel was as was expected, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our whole experience in a very lovely southern city.

This hotel has good a location. It is not located exactly in the historic part of the city, but we love to walk so it was easier to walk around the city. The hotel near to the King street and very good restaurants. We used the ballet parking service and we did not used again until our stadia was over. Our room was ok. It was not very clean as I expected, but nothing mayor.
