The property needs a refresh. Clearly paint, minor damage, wall paper and decor outdated. Was clean, but in need of upgrade. Hotel largely empty during week, slightly more filled on weekend. It’s largely “highway and river locked”, meaning it’s not easy walking to center city. Asked for a room with River view, but was told not available to online, non mariott, direct reservations. The hotel was nearly empty at the time. Suggest management fulfill requests like this when the place is vacant. Not a bad experience, staff was friendly and helpful.

Convenient to MUSC and a nice view of the waterfront. At checkout the front desk clerk was rude.

We enjoyed relaxing in the pool area. They have a fire pit and we would just sit around it during the cold nights. Everyone of the staff was friendly and always helpful. I definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I loved the customer service. Eddy was very helpful and told us places to eat at. California Dreaming is a must! The pool and fire pit was very relaxing.

Nice property. Not ‘wowwy’ but not bad either. Similarly, location is good- close to the marina- but not close to downtown. You’ll definitely have to drive to get there.

Great place with a water view. Some things were closed due to COVID, but had a great time and the staff was great too.

The coffee this morning is awesome also the view from the room is great

The beds are so soft and squishy. My back is killing me today. The sheets are pilling and feel like there is sand in the bed. That was the first thing I noticed. The AC droned on and off all night like in an old motel from the 60’s. Please, get some decent mattresses and some decent sheets. I’ve never had sheet this awful anywhere. The sink area was tiny for two people as well. And I paid over $200 a night for this! Sorry, I won’t stay at a courtyard Marriot again.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome at the hotel. The location is a bit further from the Historic District but it isn't too far and is still easily accessible.

Stayed there for a bachelor party. Pool area was nice and comfortable. The cafe had good food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
