Excellent location. Has been a number of years since we have stayed here. Common areas and rooms are showing some age. Very understaffed during our visit resulting in long waits for valet. Amenity fee, but bar closed early on a Saturday night and light breakfast was not kept full in lobby area of floor. Front desk staff was excellent!
We very much like staying at the MP. We like the bar, the rooftop, the restaurant, and the rooms, which are well appointed and fresh. We also like staying on the 4th floor where coffee is available and a bit of breakfast. The staff are very nice as well.
I loved the customer service. I hate that the windows are covered in a film even if the view is a wall.
Absolutely smashing! Staff is super helpful and professional. Located in the heart of downtown Charleston. Easy walk to shopping, including the Market; restaurants, and historic attractions. Will defiantly stay again and recommend.
Would highly recommend this property!!! Rooms were comfortable and very clean!!! Continental breakfast in the parlor on your floor included coffee, tea, juice, fruit and assorted pastries! Cookies were available as well as coffee and tea in the afternoon!! Staff was top notch! Perfectly located! Rooftop bar and pool was an added touch!

This was one of the most enjoyable vacations I've ever had. The hotel was beautiful, the staff over and above. They took care of our every need. The service and cleanliness couldn't have been any better. The location could not have been ant better. We were centrally locate to most all of the cities attractions and restaurants. If I ever return this where I wiil stay!
Our checkin experience was great! The front desk staff is friendly and helpful and the valet service is terrific. We only had one complaint-after our dinner at 225, we wanted an after dinner drink at the bar. We sat down and waited while the (male/possible manager) bartender made drinks for the other guests, but absolutely ignored us…not even a greeting. After sitting for about 15 minutes, he finally asks us if we needed something. We said we’d like a cocktail, to which he responded “it would have to be something simple because the bar is closed.” Why not save us the 15 minutes and the embarrassment by just letting us know the bar was closed when we sat down? Other than that incident and extremely slow bar service during dinner, we loved our stay!
The Market Pavilion is a beautiful property and the staff is fantastic.
