Our room was uncomfortable as the heat/AC unit in our room didn’t work.

the entrance was hard to find

Great stay. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay here. The outside is more beautiful that what is pictured with a pool and small garden. I enjoyed eating breakfast outside. Walking distance to everything. I would definately stay again.

This hotel had visible black mold growing on the ceiling of our room. The shower faucet was detached from the tile about an inch. Bathrooms and room were outdated. Nothing about the property felt clean and tidy. Two colleagues had to switch rooms due to filthy shower/hair all over the tub and a gnat infestation. This was unlike any Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in. Hampton Inn is usually a reliable brand, but this property tarnished my brand perception. It was dirty, unkempt, and had poor cleaning services. The fitness room was missing a lot or had broken equipment. The pool area was nice but didn't have towels. Only Seth at the front desk was a gem and provided amazing service.

We hada three night stay over Memorial Day weekend. This hotel is located one block off of King Street so for those on a 2-3 night getaway, it doesn't get much better. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the pool was relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Our room was clean, but there were a few issues with it. The shower leaked to the point that our floor towels became completely soaked. More concerning though was that in average high temps of 84-86 our room would not cool below 71 degrees. We had the fan on High and set to 60 but it simply wouldn't cool any further. We contacted the front desk on multiple occasions (until ultimately they blocked our phone) and a maintenance person did visit the room, but I have a feeling it simply doesn't get cooler. The manager did comp us one of the three nights which was truly appreciated. Overall the location is spectacular, but had the manager not comp'd us the one evening I would have drastically lowered this rating - but she did her best to compensate us for the difficulty we had, and that is how it should be done.

Staff was great, room air didn’t work well and it was very humid. No AC in the halls or elevators either.

Location, location, location as they say. This property had the best and most central location for us. Easy check in and check out, clean and very comfortable.

Older property and the first time ever staying in a place with no microwave or refrigerator

The grout in the bathroom needs to be filled in - right now it looks dirty and dated, not the historic kind. We also had a broken wall light by the mirror. However, the beds were wonderful, breakfast was yummy and the staff is amazing. So overall a good experience, but the rooms could be fixed up.

Best experience was dealing with Jack at front desk when we first checked in. He went above and beyond for us.

Clean, safe, and friendly place to stay. It was located in an area with easy access to the downtown area.

Good location but dated hotel with not the best happy customer service
