Completely enjoy the facility.Have been there many times

The hotel was nice - the lobby is very nice, but the rooms could use some upgrading.

Rooms small, refrigerator did not work, housekeeping left a stained bathtowel, did not empty all trash cans. Hard to tell they were there one day.

Nice hotel on the beach. Room was nice, loved the balcony and oceanview. The room seemed like it had been recently renovated except for the bathroom. Shower was noticeably older than the rest of the room and could have been a little cleaner. Staff were friendly, breakfast buffet is excellent.

If you like broken AC and laud refrigerator noise! Need to connect to internet every time you open your computer. It took me 2 hours to get the right directions to get the Internet first... Dirty carpet. And very bad smell in the room. Also, pillows were stinky!

Hotel location was great and the staff were terrific. We stayed in a king bed room with a view that was very nice. The room was musty and the shower curtain did not reach the floor which caused a lot of water to run all over the bathroom floor tiles. Otherwise it was nice.

I stayed with my boyfriend for one night during Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel location is fantastic, just in front of the ocean with a short walk to a pier. It has 3 pools and the accommodations are good, the bed is comfortable, the shower is hot with good water pressure. The room has a kitchenette with utensils and a fridge (which seems to be more of a freezer, everything we put there froze. The surroundings were clean and neat. Everyone in the hotel was nice and attentive, from the check-in, check-out, to the restaurants, and the valet. The only issue was that the room was supposed to be an enhanced ocean view. This means that if you step in the balcony, lean on the railings, and look to your right you could see the ocean!!! Amazing :-( The pictures on the site were misleading and showed a view of the ocean from inside the room, which is not true. Don't pay for these type of view, it is not worth the price honestly who is going to spend time standing, leaning on the balcony railings to enjoy a view? Find a normal room, without a view and enjoy laying at the pool looking at the ocean all day long.

BEST TRIP EVER! WONDERSUL PLACE AND THE STAFF IS AMAZING, WE ATTENDING A WEDDING AT THE HOTEL AND THE PLACE WAS VERY ACCOMDATING!

Good, clean, don't like being forced to pay for parking!!!

We booked the hotel for 3 days and paid $229 per night.. It's on the beach but other than that there is no pros in this hotel.. The rooms r super tiny, beds are not comfortable and ac is so noisy that u can't think to sleep.. On our checkout we gave the feedback to manager and he apologiesed to is but that doesn't make my vacation better after spending almost 1k on this trip.. I'm not going to recommend this hotel to a person who wants to have a good room with beach view

Wifi was not included - at all other Hiltons when you are a Hilton Honors member you get free wifi. You had to be a gold member to get free wifi. Also, due to a lightening strike, alarms went off late Saturday night, but they were not loud enough and the warning wasn't apparent enough to get us to evacuate - sounded like a car alarm in the parking lot. The alarms went off again at 0630 Sunday morning - and these were loud to get us out of the bed, however, it was very unclear what was going on and the evacuation didn't seem like it was "serious" If it had been a real emergency, not sure the procedures would be adequate, not only that, having to get up at 0630 for a non-emergency while on vacation sucked. The Amalfi Restauarant was wonderful, as was the Vintage 12

The mini frig was leaking water and was freezing items inside. We did not see any way of turning the temperature down so we had to toss some food we had inside. The toilet ran sometimes during the night and we were in a room right next to the elevator. We could hear people in the hallway after being out all night and they were not quiet. We would return to this hotel, but would make sure we are not by the elevator. The beach location is great!

First and last time we stay at a hilton, we always assumed that hilton meant luxury. Wasn't up to par with the Hyatt. We're expecting the same for the money. Dining was really nice, lobby and atrium were beautiful. Rooms weren't any better than a comfort inn, not that comfort inn isn't nice but when I pay double or triple the cost, I expect better. Was told there was an indoor pool and there was but not on site, not convenient having to be shuttled to another property.

The Hilton is in a wonderful and beautiful spot for the beach and pool. Room A/C did not work, and yes we understand the sliding door must be shut and locked to operate, it never went below 76 degrees. Food and beverage was a nightmare. Server advised us that they just opened and were not prepared to do business...what a greeting! She was right it was awful. They should have just not opened until they can properly operate with the correct staff and supplies. Rooms were clean and well appointed with a great views. Front Desk staff very attentive and willing to assist where they could. This could be a great property and would return just probably eat somewhere else.

Very pleased with the quality of the hotel and the professionalism of the staff. Plan to stay there again.

I read some of the reviews and was a little iffy. Any negative comments are way off. Room was great, we had the enhanced ocean view with king bed. Compared to the other hotels available this one would have to be the best.

Nice hotel (even though they're still updating) with wonderful views of the ocean. Out-of-the way and quite but only 15 minutes from the main drag, if you're looking to get into anything. My only complaints are when we first showed up there was sand on the dresser, and you have door access to your neighbors on either side which means you may hear more than what you may want to. Overall, I'd stay there again.

Living in New England, escaping to Myrtle Beach gives us a head start on the Spring season. The Hilton is right on the beach, has all of the amenities, and the free shuttle service to local restaurants allows us to get by without renting a car for the week. We enjoyed our stay, and will probably go back again.

We will start with the good - the outside area is great. Plenty of chairs and three pools. The bar/restaurant at the pool was really nice. The wait staff and pool attendants were very nice and helpful. If you have kids, they play music and do games in the afternoon at the main pool. Now the straight up bad - the room. The shower had mold and the water pressure and the temperature in the shower fluctuated severely. The toilet leaked bad and we reported it twice, but nobody every came to fix it. The privacy deadbolt in the door didn't work at all and the main deadbolt only engaged if you pushed the door hard after closing it. We reported this as well, but nobody came to fix it. Last, but not least, the electrical outlets were a joke. They were few and far between and the outlets that were there barely worked. We had one working outlet in the bed area and one in the bathroom. The rest were either flaky or straight up wouldn't even hold the prongs. It was pretty ridiculous. We asked several people on the elevators, etc. how they liked their room and everybody said they had electrical outlet problems. They really need to fix the rooms, it was very disappointing to love the outside so much and hate the room just as much. Lastly, I think in 2011 Hilton can afford to provide free wifi in the rooms instead of charging $10 per day. Not even the lobby had free wifi, you had to go to the business center and use their PCs for free internet access.

Initially when I booked the hotel I looked through the photos. I was looking for a nice hotel with a great childrens play pool. The pictures did not match what was there. Although nice it did not have what was pictured. As far as the rooms, they are very nice, albeit a little bit tight. However I had issues with the plumbing in the room and it was not completely fixed until my third day, that was an inconvienance. I would have appreciated a little bit better customer service and or an apology for the troubles I had at the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for the price and what was delivered. Also they do not tell you about the 7.99 a day parking fee. Really ridiculous...I have never, ever paid a parking fee at another hotel at Myrtle Beach. Last issue...9.95 for Wifi...really at over 200 a night you would expect to get Wifi for free....all along the beach all the other hotels provide it at no cost.
