The hotel and staff were excellent. A great place to stay if you're visiting Charleston, but don't want to stay in the madness that is downtown Charleston. Less than 10 minutes over the Ravenal Bridge and you're right into the scenic downtown area with all of the shopping and restaurants and all that history.

I liked that it was relatively close to both downtown Charleston and the Shems Creek area. It was easy to go to the beaches for day trips also. The breakfast was great! And Manager's reception each night was really good also. What I didn't like was that we had to pay so much for parking every night.

Pool was super small and not clean, very cloudy water. $30 parking fee on top of service fee. Room was ok but looks as no one puts effort to clean it, cleaning crew did daily beds and change towels, but no vacuuming or trash pick up .
