We enjoyed a nice stay near our favorite spot to watch all the boat traffic in Shem Creek. Hotel is new. Pool area very nice. Staff was professional and pleasant. Would recommend highly. We found a new "go to" place to stay.
Room and Staff excellent. Clean and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants comfort and convenience without any hassle. We were treated with respect and made us feel as valued guests.
This hotel is ideally located right off hwy 17 with easy access to just about everything. I used Hilton Honors points for my stay - and the total was reasonable. The front desk pulled off the perfect check in. The breakfast associates were professionals and outstanding. My made to order omelette perfect. Each HGI is ran differently, this one manages to achieve top marks in every category. Someone at the front desk happily faxed papers for me, housekeeping took care of my extra pillow and towel needs. Parking was abundant. Wifi excellent. Plus the place looks fantastic.
Quiet and superb location. Near beaches and center of Charleston. Friendly and efficient staff. No negatives with this hotel. Property and rooms are clean and well maintained. Would stay again in the future.
Hilton Garden Inn has yet to let me down. Friendly service, clean rooms and always helpful when I have any questions, however, I'm a Hilton Honors customer but keep forgetting to add my stays to member number.
We recently stayed here on a one-night visit to Charleston. Since hotels were very pricey in the historic district, a friend from Charleston suggested we stay in the Mount Pleasant area. This hotel was very convenient to historic and downtown Charleston! It was just a quick drive over the bridge and south in the historic area. We were able to find city parking lots near everything (Waterfront Park, City Market, and historic sights). The following morning, they granted us a late checkout and we were able to spend the morning at Folly Beach (just a 25-minute drive). The beach and ocean were beautiful. We watched dolphins out in the waves all morning. The hotel lobby is beautiful and everyone we encountered at the front desk was warm and helpful. We stayed in a King Studio Suite, which has a half wall separating the bedroom and the sofabed area. Both areas had separate TVs and the bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was $12.99 for a buffet. Kids ate free. We did not have time to view the pool area or any other amenities, but for the great room, reasonable price, and especially the location, I would highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel decor was very modern and clean. Although we did not use the bar, the bar was located in a convenient area. The beds were very comfortable. The only issue we experienced was a loss of power when we used two hairdryers at the same time. I will return to this hotel in the future.
We just held our family reunion this past weekend. I cannot say enough great things about the people I worked with. Sarah Parrish helped book our rooms and was so accommodating as our numbers kept fluctuating--right up until the last minute. Justin Morris was with the food and beverages. Both of them made sure everything was as I specified. They checked with me daily to see how things were going. They could not have been more helpful. We were lucky enough to have Camelia as our bartender and Willie as our server both nights. These 2 ladies were charming and friendly to all of us--and we had a large group--56 in all! I All of my family was pleased with the food, the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inns in Mt. Pleasant to anyone planning a visit to Charleston or an event here in town! You won't be disappointed!
We stayed here one night before our Charleston weekend. The view was nice, but not worth the upgrade fee. Also, the elevator was slow and the AC was very, very loud. I always try to stay at a Hilton, but for over $200.00 on not even a weekend night, it just wasn't worth it. It was also a surprise that breakfast was an extra 12.00 per person. :-( Decent room and bed. Just not great overall
Great stay. The hotel was only about 2.5 miles from the Historic District (which saved us money). The hotel was new, clean. Staff was very courteous and was very helpful. The hotel is located close to many of the attractions (with in about 15 min or less driving distance). All in all a great experience and value.
