Very nice hotel. Updated and clean, No carpet - love it!! Love the no tub shower with the glass door, no more curtain - yay! Friendly checkin staff. Convenient area. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Check in was easy and helpful directing us to nearby restaurants. Only 2 bath towels for 2 people. Used a hand towel to wash my hair. Hotel was on a busy road, so noisy. The wall were thin, so you could hear others. Breakfast was ok, but they ran out of yogurt. Probably won’t stay at Tru again

Your staff needs a bit of training. On multiple occasions, I had to request that they fill the coffee urns including at breakfast and check-in. The attitude of one employee at the front desk could also be considered surly. She was more interested in her phone than the guests.

Room was clean. Lobby area very pleasant but needs light. Booking with third party put us on the first floor. No exceptions. LOUD, allergies affected from previous pets, no coffee in the room. Breakfast - all CHEAP ultra processed breakfast choices, even cereals were heavily sweetened. Very green bananas were the “healthy” option. Appalling it’s called breakfast. No bar soap to wash face. I asked.

Clean, comfortable and friendly

Stayed at Tru in Mount Pleasant SC in the last night of our trip to visit family during a family emergency. The establishment was clean, and comfortable. The area was well lit, and felt safe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and much needed for a good night's rest. When I come to visit again, without the need of emergency, Tru will definitely be in my list!
