Very small bathroom, tile in shower very stained. Malfunctioning A/C unit that prevented us from sleeping and no response from hotel stafff when brought to their attention.

We enjoyed the room and shuttle service. We were disappointed with the service in the restaurant. The waiter was rude and dismissive.

Enjoyed my stay a great deal. Bed was comfortable and clean.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor areas were very well done as was most of the hotel. The rooms were only partially updated. Bathroom was super tiny and the showers looked to be from the 1980’s. It didn’t fit with the rest of the room decor. They bothered to update half of the bathroom, why not the shower? We did enjoy the free parking, but WiFi was $10/day. Come on.

We reserved the room literally while driving towards it, less than two miles away. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They offer a shuttle to downtown until 10:45 which made it very easy to get there. We would definitely stay again.

Easy drive to downtown, close to the College of Charleston, great restaurants and shopping. Bathroom could've been cleaner. Bathrooms need an update. Beds are comfortable and firm, nice pillows too. Very good food at the hotel restaurant at reasonable prices. Lovely outdoor gathering areas.

Clean, Comfortable, and Relaxing Experience. Wonderful Modern Contemporary Decor. Lots of nooks and crannies throughout the main lobby and common areas inviting you to sit, relax, and slow down a bit. This Hotel is equipped with an accommodating and efficient staff that I have come to expect from Marriott.

Hotel is very nicely appointed in the lobby and all main areas. Rooms were recently redone and are fresh and contemporary. Pool area looked clean (didn't have time to swim). All employees we interacted with were quite nice. Easy access to main roads getting in to downtown.

Location opposite of historic section but short 10 min crosstown ride. Clean facility, parking OK, staff friendly & helpful. Did not eat or use other services there do can't rate them. Recommend for privacy v longer ride to city from other N Chas / Mt Pleas options.

When I booked the room, I mentioned that it was our 50th anniversary and requested a nice view. I did not expect extra services, but the staff went out of their way to help us celebrate. The room and the view were beautiful, and we had a wonderful time. I would like to thank Iveta (sp?), the young lady who checked us in, and Manager Jerry for their special help and consideration. The Charleston Marriott is professionally run and a great place to stay!

Great experience, decided to take a mini family get away, and stayed there for one night. Very child and adult friendly, the pool was amazing, great breakfast buffet, very clean spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend, and stay here again

The hotel was beautiful and in a good location. Downtown Charleston is too congested. We got to Charleston way before check-in and the staff let us in our room anyway. We had time to go on two tours.

The staff was so welcoming and helpful! We arrived at 10am and requested early check in. Within 10 minutes, the front desk manager called me to say our room was ready! They gym was well equipped and provided water, apples and complimentary earbuds in case you forgot your own. Parking was easy and safe. As soon as you pull out of the hotel, you are right by the bridge to Folly and a mere mile away from Market square. Our hotel room was super clean. Due to a rain shower, we spent a few hours in the room and were pleased to find the alarm/radio with cell phone hookup to play our own music. All of the furnishings and amenities on site were an a plus in my books. Would have used the pool and rooftop bar if we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be going back!!

Really liked this hotel! Great staff, wonderful room and nice amenities! The free fireworks show from the pool and jacuzzi area was a bonus!!!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor areas were very well done as was most of the hotel. The rooms were only partially updated.
