The room was not ready at 4 PM- scheduled check in time. The front desk was not helpful, only said housekeeping did not have room ready. Once my family of 5 was able to check in, we unpacked and settled in to discover the pull out couch was completely broken. We had to re-pack our stuff and switch to another room. The 2nd room was missing sheets, blankets, and the pillow for the pull out couch. The toilet overflowed and we had to request maintenence. Breakfast was disappointing at best.

Great place

Pool and gym were nice. The room itself was run down and not cleaned thoroughly. Complaints would be: Shredded cheese in the carpet, refrigerator leaked water, hairs in the bathroom, and the king size bed was originally made up with a set of sheets that were too small.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. No complaints there, at all. From the outside, the hotel seems very attractive. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The parking was limited and there was need to park in a grassy lot next door during the weekend when the hotel was full. On the inside, the rooms are in need of some upkeep. It was painfully obvious that the hotel was built cheaply. Linoleum peeling up in the bathroom. Windows that were broken. Walls thin enough to hear conversations in the next room. These were a little disappointing, but didn't make the stay bad. The breakfast could use some work, as well. One day there was cereal, but no milk. The next day milk, but no cereal. Food and coffee was constantly running out and the staff was working hard to keep up. Just a tad disappointing, but not a game breaker. All in all, you get what you pay for and we'd stay here again if necessary.

It was nice to be able to stay together but still have our own separate bedrooms.

A complete package. From nicely decorated suites to a well equipped kitchen, the room accomodations are excellent. The location is great. 10 or so minute drive into downtown Charlrston as well as easy access to roads, including Ashley River Rd and the airport. Sited with a view of the marsh, the location includes a short but pretty tree lined walk to a marina. No place to eat within walking distance. Grocery stores nearby. Brrakfast was weak due to covid. Bought and brought in croissants from a downtown bakery.

Overall, the property was nice. The facility was clean and the front desk staff were nice. I thought it was a riverview property because of the name but it was not. Parking was an issue at night when full.

The front desk clerk was not very kind or knowledgeable about the amenities. I asked a simple question about connecting the tv to my Netflix account to which she laughed and said she had “no clue”. Also, there was a leak from the AC unit in my bedroom that soaked the entire carpet and no one even offered to move me or give me a discount. It’s a nice property but my trip was a disappointment.

The toilet in our room didn't properly flush the entire time we were there despite repeated plunging and work on it.

The hotel is tired and needs updating. Other than that the personal were great.

They were cleaning carpets with heavy chemical no fans in place and very noisy. Would not give me a different room or refund my money. It is described as riverview district hotel our view was the garbage can. Very unhappy with stay
