It was a very nice hotel experience. Hotel was easy to find and had a good atmosphere.

Clean modern room and the hotel staff were professional and friendly.

Everything was perfect. Loved the tiled shower! Staff was very courteous. Breakfast was great.

It was a nice, clean property that is a good value for the price. The room was clean, breakfast was good, it was close to the highway and the hotel staff were friendly. We appreciated the suggestions of fun things to do in Charleston. It was a pretty easy drive to downtown Charleston and we had a great time visiting Charleston.Parking and WIFI are free We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The stay was wonderful. Breakfast was over the top. Better then ever expected. The staff very pleasant and helpful.

Overall a nice hotel. A bit awkward to get to the first time as it is not directly on a main road, but easy enough once you figure it out. The only minor issue I have is in regard to the TV location. The rooms (at least ours) are not a conventional, "pass by the bathroom upon entering" configuration. Instead, you enter directly into a wide studio area that is the full width of the unit with the bathroom and bed area at the back of the room. So the TV can be viewed in both the front studio area and the rear bed area, it is mounted on the wall halfway between both rooms. As a result, you have to look to the side at a pretty significant angle to see the screen while laying in the bed or sitting on the studio couch. Nothing severe, just awkward and a bit uncomfortable for extended periods of viewing. The TV mount pivots which keeps you from having to look at the actual screen at an angle, but not enough so you are looking straight at the screen. Everything else was very good and we really liked the wider rooms. Good location near the airport but not too far from everything else. Will definitely patronize the hotel again if we find ourselves back there.

My wife and I booked a cruise six months ago out of Charleston. We are only four hours away, so we planned on driving to Charleston the morning of the cruise. Fast forward six months later to the day before the cruise. It starts snowing like hell and the weather report is saying the temperature is going to drop into the twenties overnight. I decided that we needed to leave the day before, or we may not be able to get there. So I go on Orbitz and start looking for a room. Hyatt Place North Charleston was the highest rated hotel, in the price range I was looking for, that still had rooms available. After I booked the room we hit the road. Driving conditions were horrible. It took us six hours to make a four hour drive and there were times I didn't think we were going to make it. But we did, finally. We arrived at the hotel at about 10:00 pm. This hotel only had three stars, so I was a little leery. The staff checked us right in. We went to our room, walked in and were pleasantly surprised. It was a really nice room. It had a living room area and a large bed. The room was very clean. We got up the next morning and went downstairs to the dining area, to get our included continental breakfast. They have a full breakfast with cooked food. Eggs, bacon and grits. They also have bagels fruit and cereal, all the things most hotels have. So, the breakfast was very good. I don't understand why this hotel has only a three star rating. I give it a solid five!

The room was nice and spacious and amenities great. Everything was very clean, my one complaint is that it was hard to get the temperature right with the thermostat being by the door, which is farthest from the bed.

The hotel was great. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean. There's a 24 hour kitchen, but they do not offer everything on the menu past 11pm and there is no room service. Also there's a complimentary breakfast that ends at 10am. I always missed the breakfast, but it looked like buffet style breakfast food options. There's a very small gym, 2 treadmills, an elliptical, a stationary bike, and a few dumbbells up to 50 pounds with one bench. It never seemed to be anyone in there so having little equipment is not an issue. There's complimentary headphones and towels in the gym as well. It's very close to the airport 15-20 minutes. There's a Cracker Barrel that is walking distance. If you are driving a rental car, you will be able to drive a few minutes to all the restaurants, Walmart, and tons of other stores in a 15 minute radius. We were in a standard room, so no tub if you're traveling with kids; just a stand up shower. Overall a nice hotel with a spacious room.

Breakfast was horrible. Food was not well prepared

Came here for our anniversary and it was great. Room was clean. Staff was very helpful and respectful. Will be back again

Great anniversary for me and my wife. Charleston is a great city to visit.

Hotel was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Located around 20 minutes from downtown. It is a great room and hotel for the price.

close to airport easy access to interstate/highways close to major attractions Hotel was comfy, good breakfast, nice rooms

The location was convenient to the highway and close to food and shopping. The staff was absolutely fun and wonderful. I tried the in room menu and the spinach and artichoke flatbread was better than many restaurants. Room is always spacious with a fridge and microwave. The beds are always incredibly comfortable!

Overall great experience with the exception of the A/C was loud when it came on at night.

Not so bad overall! We like to stay at Hyatt hotels !

It would have been nice to have the hair cleaned from the sink and shower. Average breakfast as it's not very different from other similar hotels. Convenient and would stay again. Need to have coffee available 24/7 and not just for breakfast.

Hotel location was good not far from outlet about 10 minutes & maybe 15 minutes from downtown Charleston.

You can tell this hotel caters to business travelers, but t is also great for everyone else. We stopped here on our way from Florida to Virginia, great price and even though it is close to 1-26, it was a quiet hotel. Affordable, friendly staff and clean but what really made us want to book again was the rooms themselves. Very spacious, refrigerator, coffee maker, separate living room area, big TV and best of all...comfortable beds. We ordered dinner from their in house menu, husband ordered Italian Flatbread, Club for me, both were good. The hot complete breakfast was a welcomed change from the standard hotel breakfast that you usually receive. We travel quite a bit for pleasure and my husband travels twice a month for business, this hotel is one we would both recommend.
