We liked the room cleaning service. We like the roof top. We like that the beach, cafe and restaurants were close by. We did not like the limited parking space and tight parking spaces.

Dream Inn is the best .
The Dream Inn is charming, good location (walk distance to the beach, grocery and restaurants), has a small pool, and a simple rooftop. The staff is nice and very polite. The room is small, but clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The only down side was the funky smell when we got in the room, nothing unacceptable and too be quite honest we got used to it after a few minutes. I would consider staying at this place once again if I come back San Juan.

So I'll just say for the negative reviews you have to know what you're getting before saying this place is bad. It's a boutique hotel which means it's smaller then your larger chain run one's. So with that you lose a lot of the amenities you're probably used to. Gym, large pool, large rooms, etc. But because it's smaller it feels more homey and personalized which pleased us very well! The property itself is nice, well maintained, and cute. It's a very relaxing environment especially the rooftop which exceeded our expectations. There's no place to eat at the hotel but so many places located nearby the selection is endless. I'd recommend La Coffetera, and Lana's Arepas. Kasalta is also located nearby but the food did not impress us and the customer service was zero so I would skip that for the coffee shop which is located next to it. An Uber ride to Old San Juan will cost about $8 - $15 depending on what time you request one which isn't bad. The staff at the hotel were so nice and friendly and that was all of them we encountered with. I left off one star just due to the room not seeming to cool properly even with the A/C working right. It seemed like one side of the room was always noticeably hotter and that was the side with the bed. Speaking of the bed it was comfortable and we slept very well on it. I'm not sure how big the rest of the rooms are but the room we were in was fine for 2 adults but definitely not any more so if you have kids I'd research some more.
I enjoyed my stay in the Dream Inn. The hotel is located in a nice residential area. The staff was very helpful and friendly; especially Jorge. He made me feel very welcome beside his fully knowledge about San Juan's sightseeings.
Despite everything being closed. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The best part was definitely the roof top to relax

Hotel location is perfect. The front desk personnel was spectacular.
The hotel is very nice for the price we paid. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The location is great as there is a beach two blocks behind the hotel. There is also a great bakery restaurant across the street. I personally wouldn’t walk the area at night but I’m also careful when travelling. The only reason for not a perfect score is the bed itself is not comfortable. The pillows are low quality and the air conditioner was very loud. That being said for the price, cleanliness and location I would stay again.
