This property rents for a minimum of 1 week. Located beachside in desirable East End of St. George Island, this home has a beautiful view of Gulf. The beach is less than 500 feet away and no roads to cross to get to the beach. Featuring four bedrooms and two baths, this home has a large family room and kitchen as well as a loft with sofa sleeper for overflow sleeping. Your entire party can enjoy eating together at the expansive dining table which comfortably seats twelve with adjoining kitchen island for additional seating.
For your outdoor enjoyment, two large decks provide ample space to experience breathtaking sunsets.
Small, well trained pets are allowed.
NOTE: This property rents by the week only. Summer rentals (Memorial Day week through Labor Day week) are Saturday to Saturday. Rentals the remainder of the year (Fall, Winter and Spring) are Sunday to Sunday.
Also, to keep the property in good condition, we do not rent to student groups.

Perfect Family Home

The house was beautiful, with a large comfortable seating area where the entire family could sit. Big table to play games and build puzzles. So close to the beach it was almost insane for the price. I had a torn meniscus and had to walk gently, luckily it was a easy walk. Would definitely come back to this home. St. George Island is the perfect family beach.

Great escape

My parents, 24 year old daughter and her boyfriend, as well as, my 17 year old son stayed here. The house was great for a multi generational group. Great location and wonderful house. Well equipped for cooking and easy beach access. Very clean. Loved our stay here.

A Great Snowbird Trip

We stayed for 8 weeks this year- our third year back to the SSWeDidIt! Such a comfortable, roomy place to stay. We love the windows and the decks where you can always find a comfortable place to sit. Even when it is cold, the windows let you see the Gulf. Communication with the owners is easy- they respond right away. Nice separation of the master downstairs, and two guest rooms upstairs, with a sitting room and bath. We had some family and friends stay, without feeling like we were all on top of each other. And the kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in. Can't wait for next year!

Lovely Location Inside & Out

Our family had a great time at the SS WeDidIt. It is just a short walk to the beach, with beautiful views from the wraparound porch. It was great to have the gate so that our small dog could enjoy the porch as well. Plentiful seating on the porches, great for morning coffee at sunrise, and plentiful seating inside -- comfy couches and ample seating for dining AND doing a puzzle or playing a family game. Well-equipped kitchen. Very enjoyable stay! thanks so much.

Great summer get away

Great Quiet Location for Families

Smooth and easy check in. House had plenty of bedrooms and sleeping options. Great ocean views and outside deck space. Close proximity to the beach with private neighborhood beach path. Easy access to the bike path for a 2 mile ride to center of SGI. Would definitely stay here again!

Love love!

This was our first time to St. George Island and we fell in love. The house was just perfect for our family. The location is in a great area on the east end and not far from stores/restaurants! The living room has tons of seating space for our large family as well as the kitchen table. Very well equipped home and we will no doubt book again. We actually got to meet the owner which was very nice. Thank you for opening your home to us. The views are spectacular!

Saint George Island…the best kept secret in Florida

We loved the property, had a ton of space for our party. It is close enough to walk to the beach. It stormed several days while we were there so we stayed in and took advantage of the games provided. We couldn’t get the TVs or wifi to work, which was okay since we were occupied doing other things. Saint George Island will definitely be somewhere we come back to, it’s quiet and not crowded like other popular beaches.

Great vacation home!

Our two families had a great time! The main living area was awesome and made it so all could interact whether cooking, eating, doing laundry, or watching tv. Many outdoor seating and eating options! Very close to the beach which was not overly busy on any of the days. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was in really good condition. We found the front door to be a little tricky but we figured it out eventually. Great stay!!!

Fantastic week

My family and I were blessed to enjoy this great property with wonderful views, plenty of room to spread out and just a short walk to the beach! Kitchen was very well stocked, decks were enjoyed daily and the kitchen island was perfect for pouring out our low country boil onto butcher paper and gathering around to enjoy! Wedidit on St George Island

We had a wonderful 2 week stay. The first week was with one other couple and the second with 5 other family members. The house is very spacious and has a great layout for socializing and eating together. The kitchen is well appointed and who doesn’t love a HUGE kitchen island? Granted, we had to clear the grandkids art projects off first to have meal prep, but that was fine. The almost wraparound porch/deck was another good gathering place with 3 sets of chairs and tables, and stargazing there was amazing. The wood of the deck was a bit beat up in areas. Very nice view of the gulf even without being “beach front”, a short 3 min walk to the beach. The privacy was excellent and the east side of SGI is more quiet than the west. Steve, the owner, was most helpful in answering questions about the house and SGI in general. My only complaint is that the sheets in the master bedroom were worn and ill fitting, a minor issue compared to all the benefits of Wedidit. It would have been nice to have some beach chairs available, but rental with delivery is close by. We will be back again!

Family Spring Break 2023

We absolutely loved our time at this VRBO on SGI. The location, the number of rooms and beds, the bathrooms, the great space in the kitchen and dining area and gathering space were perfect for our 2 families of 4. We enjoyed being out on the deck listening to the ocean and shelling on the beach. Our teen boys enjoyed boogie boarding and washing off the sand with the house hose afterwards. We had many breakfasts and dinners at the house and had all the utensils and cook ware needed. The only thing we didn’t do was use the grill. We had everything to enjoy our week long trip. Our hearts are full!
