We have a cat and in the front desk they say that charge 10 dollars for pets and they charge us 25 dollars. The check in time should be at 11 and we got there 11:45 and the room wasn't ready yet. We leave before the check out time and they didn't give us back our deposit because we are leaving at night.
I was so scared after I had booked the reservation for this place because it said that it was nonrefundable. I didn't get around to reading the reviews of the place until it was too late and they were all one star reviews saying that there were hookers everywhere and that the rooms were filthy. Well I'm sitting on right now and it's not that bad. The baseboards are dirty and there is some graffiti carving on the desk but that's as bad as it gets. There's definitely hot water and there's even a little mini shampoos so for $70 a night I would say that it's kind of worth it for being so close to Los Angeles. The weird thing is that you had to pay upfront and you had to give them a five dollar cash deposit for the key. Make sure you have a five dollar bill on you
I don't normally write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this hell hole. I wish I could give this place negative stars. First and foremost, the staff (Indian couple and their son) were extremely rude. I asked for an extra blanket and his response was "we are sold out." I then asked for an extra pillow and his response once again was "we are sold out." I have no issues with persons of the Indian race. I in fact was born in India myself. Now the terrible room! There was a dead fly on one of the pillows which was the very first thing we spotted. The Indian guy miraculously brought another pillow even though they were "sold out." The room smelled of urine and everything was filthy. The floors were stained, the curtains were disgusting and the air conditioning gave off a nasty smell. Stay away from this terrible and wretched place.
1st - The staff was extremely rude. I booked the room knowing I would be leaving after work and making a 5 hr drive to get there. I called at 6 pm to let them know that I would be arriving after 11. All seemed fine. I called again at 10 to speak with the night person and to reconfirm because it was looking closer to arriving at 1 am. The lady gets mad at me that I am not there yet, telling me that If I have until 10:30 or shes canceling my res. After dealing with her rude attitude for a few minutes, someone else got on and said ok. 2nd - We arrive and they don't have a non smoking room that I reserved. 3rd - the room was gross and stunk!!! The whole property looked rundown. but it was late. 4th - We were in town to take friends to the train station. We were checking in and then gonna leave to drop them off. The night guy was stalking us and when he saw more than 2 people got out of the car, he pounced. Told us we had to leave. When I explained that we just drove 5 hrs and that were leaving again to go to the train station. He said you have 5 minutes and was gonna wait there. Then he said for visitors we had to pay $30 cash. At first I paid, but by this time I just barely saw the room. I demanded a refund and we left. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!
The rooms had graffiti in them on the walls headrest and ceiling the restroom doors had holes in them as if someone punched through them the rooms were dirty and the furniture was old and torn severely needs to be updated the man at the front desk kept trying to give me a different room one more horrible then the next I demanded a refund and did not stay in this place
We stood here for 7 days the room was not as bad as we had expected the bed had no bugs and the sheets were clean. The TV had a fuzz but we were still able to watch it,the ac worked and the room had 2 microwaves a small one and a big one they were clean and both worked well.. we also had a fridge. The managers were not rude at all I was expecting the worst when we had checked in you know because of all the reviews I had read. at night it was not all crazy it was quiet and drama free.obviously its not no 5 star hotel its could be a little cleaner like the walls and the floor boards andthey might want to consider getting a better vacuum but for the most part our stay here was overall okay..Its kinda like you get what you pay for $350.00 for a week isn't bad..but to each there own.
I had to actually jump to get on the bed. I am only 5'1" and the bed must have been 3 feet and more high. No fridge or microwave. Only 1 trash can and only 1 chair to sit on. The cushion on the chair was filthy. No ice bucket and when we went to ask for one they gave is like a small clear trash bag and charged for the ice. A $5.00 deposit is requested for the room key. The parking lot was filthy with broken glass and there was vehicle by the broken glass that looked like it had blood stains. Not friendly people at all. I should have gone to Travel Lodge about 500 feet away. Will never go back to that place again. Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! We weren't even asked if we wanted a smoking or non-smoking room..
We booked this room for out of town guests for a wedding because the Travelodge across the street didn't have enough rooms for everyone. They canceled the morning of our reservation without cause, hung up on my and didn't answer the phone when I called back to speak with management. Finally got a hold of a 'manager' with an extremely thick accent and realized reasoning with him was useless. Luckily Travelodge was able to get us a room after all. Wish I could give zero stars.
Nice place, limited parking get there before 3 or 4 pm to park in the front lot. The front desk tries to be helpful but if older family members are at the front desk they will not have a clue what you need. There is a language barrier with the older fam members. (Hindu) I went to the laundry room and the Spanish speaking staff were nice enough to give me replacement towels and washcloths straight out of the dryer. Taxi service was able to be summoned here, the price the first trip out was really affordable but bringing them back the second time the same guy tried to gouge me, watch out for the taxi fares that seem to soar the minute they think you are a regular at this hotel. In other words get your transportation together in advance. The cab company was going to charge family 40 bucks to take us to the Denny's maybe a half mile east. LOL...we gps'd it off our celly and found it so close we walked. So, take your gps or your smart phone if it has its own gps so you can google what you need and find your own way around. They have coffee available in the am, that is nice. There are some nice mex places to eat close by and don't forget about the Denny's that is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile away to the east. The hotel across the street I checked out. IT is a little pricier than this one, had billing probs and some prob people arguing in the lot, I would stay here over that one....overall I am very pleased with my stay here, I couldn't get it any cheaper for my travel. Oh one more thing the t.v's have a lot of quirks-they're older models. Make sure you don't "F" with the remote too much or even turn anything off manually off the set or the cable box or you will do without your cable all night.
We have two dogs and I called before making the reservation - the fellow who answered said they accepted dogs and there wasn't a fee. When we arrived, there was a sign that said 'No Dogs'. After some hesitation and a reminder of my telephone call, he agreed. HE seemed to get angry when I produced a coupon. Then he said it would be an extra $15.00 pet fee and that he would need to keep my I'd. The next day, I was in a car accident and arrived past check out time. The same guy quoted me a price and when I showed him the discount coupon, he became very angry. He said it would be an extra $30. I said that was unacceptable; I asked for my money back and told him I would just go get my things out of the room. He kept my money and my I'D card!!
