The desk chair in the room had 2 broken legs. The maid didn’t leave any coffee. One rob was missing. The bathroom counter was very small with zero room for my shave kit, or my wife’s toiletries, hair dryer, curling iron, etc. Not enough electrical plugs in bathroom. Shower door swing outward and dumps water all over the floor…..it should swing inward. The closet was tiny. The light by the bed was burnt out. Not enough towel racks. No place to hang wet ski clothes, sox, long underwear, helmets, etc, hated the huge pillows. I like normal size pillows. Why not give me some of each size? Hate the sliding “barn doors” to the bathroom. They are horrible and don’t provide any privacy. Impossible to turn off the light in the closet. Horrible “rain forest” shower head. Need more bar soap. Hate the squirt soap. No microwave. WAYYYY too expensive. Won’t be back. Not worth it.

Property was beautiful and so was the room..however, the service was awful at check in. I received a welcoming text message from the general manager at 11am asking us when we would arrive. I said 3pm....he said great cant wait for you to get here ...we arrived at 4pm and the lady at the front desk tells us our room isnt ready. So she tells us to wait. So we did. In the meantime........we watch all these other people checking into their rooms. Im sure that this has absolutely nothing to do with the situation but yes my friend and i are black and it was very hard not to try to feel some way about all the white families and couples checking into their rooms while we had to wait. Just help me make some sense of it.
We stayed for our summer anniversary and enjoyed the 20 minute walk to vail village.
Nice setting next to creek. Shuttle service to nearby Villages.
Location is perfect. We walked to town each morning by a running river. Spectacular views!

Excellent Place with outstanding staff. The amazing and peaceful view from the creek behind the hotel makes it a perfect place to rest and to be in Vail during the summer and fall.
The staff was very nice! The hotel was clean and beautiful. Our room was nice and had a nice mountain view. House cleaning was a little slow but other than that no issues!
Great location right on the Gore Creek. Very convenient for hiking and fly fishing.
