We had a great stay with 3 kids. Friendly staff. Nice indoor pool w/water toys :)

Good amenities and awesome breakfast included. Very nice lobby.

Clean, but old, uncomfortable mattresses. Nice lobby.

Stay was very comfortable. Liked the free breakfast. Restaurant was reasonably okay for dinner.

Old hotel but they are updating. Great breakfast buffet. Very helpful and friendly staff

The hotel is a bit older and the rooms have new and old amenities. For example, the rooms have a nice updated tv's but, they have an antiquated air conditioner/heater system. The room furniture is nice looking but the desk was wobbly and unsafe in my opinion. So for a short stay-yeah it's fine, but if I was in the area for a week or more I'd find and updated modern hotel.

Well I decided to book this hotel because of its four star rating. Everything went smooth as far as check in. I entered my room and decided to shower. While showering I look up and see an air vent caked with dust. I spoke to the supervisor which was Tiffany. She was nice enough to upgrade me to a new room. At this point I go to my new room and shower and find hair stuck on the walls of the shower. Disgusting. All in all I learned my lesson. I will only book big chain hotels with five star rating.

staff was friendly and helpful whenever needed at the front desk to the morning buffet and evening restaurant. Thanks again! some tree branches rubbing on the window were promptly trimmed away in the evening and they had a cord for my wife to hook her lap top up to the tv in the room even though she forgot it at home. great service!

Extremely friendly staff at check in, wonderful breakfast every morning with great food selections. Since my daughter has an appointment at USAFA, the hotel is about 1mile away. Very convenient. The Falconbar is pleasant and welcoming

Enjoyed my stay, close to malls many good restaurants.

Great place to stay for a week. You get a great value for your money. The decor was a bit dated but it was well worth the cost to stay. The gym was small and the equipment was not fully functional.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We loved it the first time and this time it was still a good hotel. The hallways and bathrooms could use some repair and upgrades but rooms were nice. Food at the restaurant was surprisingly good...although portion sizes were small. We had a 10 dollar off coupon so the price was good. We will likely stay again. My only gripe, the mattresses were not that comfortable and the air / heater was noisy.

Beautiful lobby experience with character and ambiance, including a large gas fireplace and lots of comfortable and cozy seating around it. Clean, well appointed rooms with nice amenities such as microwave and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was top rate. Very quiet and overall a great stay! Highly recommend it! A super value!

This hotel was very nice, room was clean and they have a complimentary breakfast unlike most others.

The room doesn't have refrigerator or microwave. There is a restaurant in the hotel but it isn't the greatest. Breakfast is the best meal and has enough options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is meant for short stays only. Also the windows don't open which is a personal dislike but may not bother other folks. It is located close to many restaurants and stores.

Lobby was nice. Great breakfast. Room was very dated and not very clean. Toilet didn't work properly.

I had a good stay at the hotel. Sitting by the fire place was relaxing. Sometimes a little loud in lobby, but they had a few sporting events happening in the locale area.

It was great but the cleaning service not so clean

My girlfriend and I recently stayed in the Academy Hotel as we travelled west for a move. During this time we got stuck in Colorado Springs because of an avalanche that shut down I-70. We ended up staying and extra couple nights. Other than the fact that the pillows aren't my favorite, the place is amazing. Breakfast in the lobby is the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. The staff is fantastic. Room service prices are cheap and fantastic food. I would absolutely stay here again next time I come to Colorado Spring.

The staff was wonderfully nice and the lobby was welcoming with a warm fire and delicious breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean but gross. Painted over wallpaper that has started to peel. Duct tape over rips in the carpet. Discolored caulk in the bathroom shower. Just cosmetics!
