Hotel Aspen

Probably the most comfortable hotel room I've ever slept in. Rooms are updated and had a great buffet breakfast. The only downside was that we had to walk up the stairs to our third floor room. Just be prepared to walk outside and up stairs to your rooms (might be rough in winter).

It is right there in Aspen downtown..Friendly staff and great breakfast. Highly recommended

It was one of the only hotels open in Aspen since ski season is over.

Hotel Aspen was great! We loved the drive up there through independence pass. One of the biggest attractions is Maroon Bells lake which is just 40 mins drive away from the hotel - the closest you can be to get there for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The staff at the hotel were amazing. Catalina and her manager went out of their way to help make us comfortable even after schedule changes and issues with our airline. They were extremely professional and accommodating. You can find everything you need but it's hard to find nice and caring people. Makes us want to go back there again and again. Hotel is also walking distance to all the best shopping, food, hiking, chairlifts to ski hills but still remains close to a quite neighborhood where you can relax and enjoy your vacation. We hope to see you again soon!

It was good, our rooms were comfortable. I just wish we didn't have to change the rooms twice. We had initially requested a jacuzzi room but due to availability issues we had to change the room twice. But the jacuzzi was nice and easy to use. Rooms were clean & tidy. Oh and also the complimentary breakfast both mornings was delicious.

We stayed here to visit our daughter who lived just a few blocks away. A short walk away from downtown Aspen. Very clean rooms, heated pool and hot tub are a plus. Great happy hour too. Nice attentive staff.

I must say that I wasn't too impressed... at first we checked in and had a 1st floor king bed room, it was really loud due to the guests upstairs so they so graciously moved us to a 3rd floor room that was very nice. It wasn't a comfy hotel. I stayed at The Comfort Inn the day before and for a cheaper hotel it was waaay more comfortable feeling. There was also construction going on during our stay here which I wish I had known about prior to arriving. Overall, it was a good hotel and worth the $$. Location was nice. Staff was VERY nice.

Hotel Aspen is a great hotel for the Aspen Ruggerfest every September. The location is perfect and the hotel is very updated and comfortable. I have stayed here in the past and will return.

We drove to Aspen from Denver and arrived at hotel Aspen at about 4 in the morning. My boyfriend and I forgot to notify the staffs and thought we would have to wait until the front desk opens at 7. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they already put our room key in the mailbox the night before along with the parking permit and other documents. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aspen and hope to be back soon!

Great location next to downtown. Free bikes. Take a short drive to maroon bells national forest. Great restaurants and bars in walking distance. Nice pool area and decent included breakfast. Good sized rooms.

Nice weekend stay in Aspen! The location was close to everything!

Our room was big and comfortable, containing a wet bar and fridge... I'm not sure if all the rooms have this or if we got an upgrade since our stay was in the off season. Staff was very helpful. Typical breakfast buffet.

I love this hotel. The value for downtown aspen is ideal, the pool is smaller but usually you're one of a few enjoying the nice pool. Good ambience. Definitely returning.

This is an older motel that was tastefully renovated into a comfortable, somewhat trendy abode. The breakfast room was quite cozy and provided a nice view of the ski runs or a view of Main Street for people watching. Loved the hot tub and the pool was kept at a comfortable temperature even in May. Everything is in walking distance from this motel.

Decent price for a room that is walking distance to town. Very clean room and a comfortable king bed. I wish they didn't mow the lawns at 8am while we were trying to sleep off our hangover.

Its not a 5-star hotel, but its excellent for the price. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and its a good location.

We absolutely loved our stay here in the heart of the mountains. The view was great, a very clean and comfy room. Fresh hot breakfast buffet to kick start a busy day and fresh hot snacks "asprès ski" in the evening..all included on your hotel charge!! They probably even rent out bikes. The staff was so informative and helpful..helped us plan our stay and activities. Ohh did I mention the hot pool and hot tub that's open for use--perfect after a ski trip.

Great location and good environment! Staff was very friendly and eager to help.

I stayed during a conference at the Aspen Meadows resort. Hotel Aspen is located close enough (~1 mile walk) to the resort and to a number of restaurants and convenience stores. The scenery was impressive, and the room was elegant and clean. It includes an HD TV, complimentary WiFi, a small kitchen, bathroom, and large bed. I slept very well!
