Embassy has an amazing happy hour and breakfast making this place well worth the stay

Incredible from start to finish! Clean and comfy and everything I’ve always known Embassy Suites to be!

Upon check-in, we only brought our bags up to the room; otherwise, we were gone all day and evening for a volleyball tournament and late dinner. We returned at 10:45 PM exhausted from the day and ready for bed as we had another early day of volleyball. My family is accustomed to cool temperatures for sleeping and the room was rather warm. The AC would not turn on so we called the front desk, waited for maintenance, and were eventually told that there was a bad fuse. Maintenance went to get a replacement, and after a long wait in which we had to call the front desk again, we were advised by maintenance that they could not locate a replacement fuse. This seems either hard to believe or incompetent for such a large hotel in a downtown location. Maintenance advised the best they could do was to bring us a fan. Again, we waited and waited and had to call the front desk again and were eventually told that they had trouble finding a fan. This ordeal went on until at least 12:30 AM, meaning that my entire family was beyond tired and cranky, including my volleyball playing daughter. The most important facet about staying in a hotel is its comfort for sleeping and this clearly was not met. Maintenance and the front desk both advised multiple times that they would reduce the hotel cost upon check-out; however, I was informed the next morning that they would not be able to accommodate this promise since the hotel was booked through Orbitz and not directly through the hotel.

Check in was quick, room has a nice view, centrally located to many attractions and places to eat. Free transportation one block away. Our experience was pleasant. And Chef Alex makes an awesome omelette!

Good location, close to Pepsi center. The cost of valet parking was outrageous!!!

Great stay and we will definitely stay again . good value huge rooms and the food was good

Great hotel to stay at and it’s close. The hotel was clean and had friendly staff.

Stayed over Saturday night to attend a Avalanche hockey game with my grandsos. Pluses - Desk manager was great in getting us checked in early. (Nice with three busy boys.) - breakfast was good, alabiet very busy. Would be nice if they had second buffet line set up on weekends. - Convient for walking distance to Pepsi Center and tons of shopping and night life. Downsides - $44 for overnight parking, really? Lots are very close by where you can park for $20-$30 - Pool was cloudy which gives appearance of not being clean.

My only complaint is about the Housekeeper in the morning. She knocked on our door 3 different times before 11am. We were only staying 1 night and check out is at noon...why did she wake us up at 8am to try to clean our room when we were leaving that day? It was really frustrating and annoying. Other than that, it is a great hotel that is in a convenient location near the convention center and performing arts.

Weak wifi and an odd carpet (Looks filthy but isn't - looks like cemfloor when you try to pull up some old rubber. Weird.) Main complaint is the parking fee. High even for a downtown location.

Parking was 80.00 dollars and the breakfast was the worst of all. only omelets to order. potatoes were dry and just not good.

These rooms were on the high end of comfortable.

The staff was incredible, the happy hour was an added bonus, and the hotel was beautiful. The location was perfect.

Perfect central location, very walkable. Lowest price for the highest quality in downtown Denver. Beware of aggressive & assaultive behavior of homeless on 16th!

Great hotel to stay at close to everything downtown the only thing it lacked which was a huge disappointment was three full days of our room not being clean the staff came bright and early at 8 AM before we even were up for the day and then we had them come back they never came

I was gonna get charged again by the hotel -that was already collected by Orbitz-, and the biggest surprise was that Orbitz charged me over ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE THAN THE HOTEL, that is not a good deal at all. So disappointed! I'm expecting Orbitz will reimburse me that money!

We loved our room. Embassy Suites is great since they include their made to order eggs and the rest of the breakfast buffet as well as their daily happy hour. We loved our room. Very clean and spacious. Great location and we were able to walk to Coors Field as well as other spots near by. We did have an issue with parking. It is valet only. We checked in after 10 pm on our first night, so I asked if we could get it waived. Everybody got a good laugh. Never hurts to ask though right? We were out most of the day Friday and returned to the hotel at roughly 4 pm. We ended up not using our car the next day. When we checked out on Sunday, the rental car attendant(at the airport) pulled a ticket off the windshield. Somehow, we had gotten a parking ticket though we had our car valeted. I called the hotel once we returned home, as we were already at the airport. We did end up getting it resolved, but it was irritating. I explained that I had to make the calls as my husband was beyond mad. We were already paying $40 a night for overnight parking and we still ended up getting a violation due to the valet or the citation company. Who really knows. Thanks to David in valet for resolving the issue!

I stayed on one of the floors that has been updated and the room was very nice. Within walking distance to shopping and breakfast was great.

Excellent location! Was surprised how many options breakfast had: fruits, traditional breakfast items and omelette station!

I've traveled to Denver for a business conference. Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Denver, walking distance from major attractions and next to commuter rail and downtown buses. Stay includes full breakfast and 'happy hour' at 5:30pm with a free drink and appetizers. Rooms are clean and spacious.
