I stayed at the Element on 11-1-19 I got a deal thru Marriott site for $89 with free valet parking and 2 free beers. I picked this hotel over the Sheraton to go to a concert at Be On Key which is about a mile away. I live in Boulder County and my show went until 2 am so I figured at this rate it would be easier and about the same price as fighting Lyft late at night. It was close enough to walk and the have bikes for use but I did not go that route. One thing I liked was the filtered water in the room. I filled a few glasses and left them in the refridgerator when I left and it was ice cold when I got back! The bed was comfortable and the shower worked great! I had 2 small complains about the hotel. First the toilet paper in the room left a bit to be desired. It was 1 ply and very rough,i ended up using the klennex. Also I did not care for the community shampoo and conditioner. I checked and saw that it was very easy to tamper with so I did not wash my hair and if I was there more then a night I would have had to go buy some of my own products but for one night I was fine to skip. The breakfast was good but was also a zoo with lots of stuff running out but the cook made a bunch of scrambled eggs to feed the masses. All in all I will definitely return if I get the parking deal but without that I would probably stay closer to RTD without parking a car.
I loved this little hotel. Stayed here prior to a concert at the Pepsi center. The rooms were very quiet and comfy. Hadn't been open long so check in was slow but oh so friendly. Loved the kitchenette, it was better supplied than some 'full size' kitchens I have seen. Only down side was high parking price but it was the same in surrounding lots.
Element denver 9/16 Ed & Mike the valets were wonderful but there is a $40 Parking fee...... To bad I didn’t write down the people that checked us in because they were super nice. I always request a high floor, a quiet room but unfortunately I got the third floor but they did upgrade us to a suite, and I am very grateful for that.. That was very very nice. The staff was super. I love this cute concept. I have never stayed at this particular chain on Marriotts. It comes complete with a two burner stove. A refrigerator/freezer, dishes, pots and pans, and coffee for in the morning. After being in there a while I did notice that the fans for the air-conditioning were loud and the outside noise was relatively large. I don’t understand why each and every Marriott chain has different sheets bedding and mattresses why can’t they all be the same! For me the sheets are very stiff and hard, plus you could hear every time you turn over in the bed it was like being on plastic sheets. The bed it’s self was to hard for me to get comfortable, argh! One of the two elevators didn’t work the entire time we were there. The next morning when we got into the elevator to head downstairs it was filthy, I’m really not sure why that wasn’t checked nor cleaned up. There is the area that you walk into that is partially wood floor before you hit the carpet. It was unfortunate because when I looked at the wood floor it looked pretty dirty and then I started noticing the carpet around the room, other things were not very clean. For being a new hotel it was not very clean, noisy, $40 for parking and not the best area of town. I MIGHT stay at this particular type of chain of hotels to give it another try at a different location, I don’t think I would return to this one.
I stayed in this hotel for one week and the It mas a Very pleasant one. Everything is New and clean and the staff was Very helpful evrrytime i nedded them Close to the convention Center and some attractions Good cost benefit
Great location to Denver, close to several conference centers, restaurants, the Capital, and Cherry Creek Trail. Breakfast is simple, but efficient. Sometimes they were short on fruit, but it seemed they refilled as the week went on. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Travon, who was very helpful and enthusiastic every time I saw him. There is no signage, but there are free bike rentals, which is very helpful in getting around the city. Rooms are clean and it was nice to have a kitchenette. Free drinks Monday through Thursday 5-6:30pm, which is a very nice bonus. I ended up meeting several great people while attending Happy Hour. The on-site menu is very scant, but I would recommend the olives, which are warm and marinated. I'd probably go offsite for dinner, though. Note: If you do have a king sized bed, you will not be eligible for late checkout, even if you are a Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite Member. They only have two of those beds on the property.
Our stay was great. The breakfast was complimentary and restaurant quality. All of the staff was so friendly from the breakfast cook to the desk staff. Travon walked around during breakfast greeting guests and the special attention did not go unnoticed. Adrianna was working the desk early in the morning and helped us check out. Our flight was unexpectedly cancelled and she helped us get checked back in. Thank you Adrianna and Travon for making our stay great!
Super friendly and helpful staff, always clean, modern, good breakfast and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Netflix on the TV, total blackout blinds and a filter tap in the room The valet parking is expensive, but there is a lot literally across the street that is less than half the price
Front Desk Supervisor, Rosa Louis canceled my reservations without my permission that had been made for over two months. I recorded the conversation and will be contacting Corporate to play the message for them which has Rosa informing me that she canceled my reservation so that she could book someone else at a higher rate. She continued to lie and tell me that no other reservations had been made within the past two days when my father made reservations at 1:00 PM today. After being caught in the lie, she said that she would call her manager to reinstate the reservations but did not return the call. She told me that it did not matter that I had confirmed reservations. She was moving me so that they could book someone at a higher rate. I am a business owner and cannot believe the poor level of service provided by Rosa Louis of Elements Denver Downtown. I definitely recommend staying away from Elements due to their unethical behavior. It is not okay to cancel someone's reservations the night before their trip because you want to book someone at a higher rate. Marriott should have made this matter right, and should definitely look for another front desk supervisor.
It's very clean and modern. The rooms have tons of storage and an almost-full sized fridge, stove, dishes, sink with an additional drinking water faucet. Bathrooms are nice. Lobby is beautiful with a great bar and the menu for food looks good too. Great location. Plenty of areas in the lobby to hang out if you have a group Couple downsides.... -parking, essentially the only cost parking option is a max of 12 hours. So unless you're just staying you probably have to valet and valet was $40/night -breakfast is pretty limited (but what free hotel breakfast isnt?) But the breakfast they do serve is really, really good
Room: our one bedroom king suite was ultra modern, very efficient and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay while visiting Denver. Everything was new, super clean and comfortable, especially the bed which was very easy to sleep on. Lots of space in the bathroom with plenty of storage for your stuff. The shower was roomy, worked great and we loved the bright lighting around the vanity. The only thing I would like to see is more drawers in the bedroom — there were only 3 small drawers total which were inside the closet. I would also take the two doors off the closet as they only got in our way when trying to pass from one side of the room to the other. Breakfast: The brewed coffee in the lobby was very good and the hot breakfast items looked pretty impressive (meatless only) though we didn't take advantage of it this stay. However, they need to work on making sure there's coffee always available during breakfast serving times (it was out one morning and we had to wait awhile along with several others) and that the hot food is not taken away early as we observed one weekend morning. Schedules should be followed so guests know what to expect. Parking is valet only with a charge of $40 per night. All-in-all it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend.
