As I walked in, I was greeted by the smell of smoke. One of the workers was smoking by the door. As I exited, the same thing happened. My room was “upgraded” and I was underwhelmed. Very small, the carpet smelled, tv barely worked, etc. Nothing that I was used to. The carpet smell is all around the hotel. We didn’t stay until checkout because we weren’t used to that and didn’t feel comfortable. Also, my boyfriend came up without a key. How did staff know that he was really my boyfriend and not someone that was stalking me? The lady at the front desk was nice though. (They were talking when I walked up for check-in and check-out though. I had to wait for their convos to end) Either way, never again will we choose this hotel.

The room was very noisy and vibrated at times. I believe that this is because of the old elevator in the hotel which makes a screeching sound everyone it goes up and down. Fortunately the hotel left earplugs in the room. The room was clean and spacious and staff are very friendly.

The hotel was conveniently located and met my needs. The front of the house staff including the supervisor were excellent and attentive. The restaurant personnel were courtesy, friendly and helpful. My only other feedback is that the other restaurant’s cook(s) must practice heating guest food properly over expediency to prevent the guest from taking an additional trip downstairs to re-warm the food themselves each occasion.
