The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the pillows were amazing. The begs are firm.. not something I liked but my husband did. Mattress comfort is very subjective to the person. But overall it is amazing… plus free Double Tree famous cookies!
Lots of mildew in the building. Understaffed. Which is forgivable due to Covid. But the mildew/mold is not
Great location if you have business downtown. If I have one criticism it is the self parking garage. The spaces are really really tight.
I liked the location and the rooftop bar, as well as the modernity. Some of the staff was nice and the hotel lobby is nicely decorated. There was a lot I did not like. I spent an abysmal two nights at the Doubletree Hilton in downtown Tallahassee during my stay on October 22-24, 2020. It started from the very beginning of my stay, where we were assigned room 501. While it looked like an ideal hotel room, its proximity to the vending machine and icemaker that constantly made noise and had water circulating was very irritating, so we asked to change rooms, which was done. We were subsequently assigned room 519. On the other corner of the hallway far from the Coke machine, the room was not as good as the previous in terms of what was inside: the carpeting was not stretched in some areas and posed a tripping hazard, the cabinet where the mini fridge was located did not close as it should have, the refrigerator was also programmed to level 5 of 6, which means nearly frozen. The bathroom was also disappointing, because the sink did not drain properly and experienced a bit of backflow. In addition, there was a spider and the toilet was noisy, filling up at random intervals during the night. My stay was also interrupted by a noisy, amorous couple next door who were both loud and made numerous moans and groans. While they were having a ‘good time’, I unfortunately was not. The final straw the fact that I was double-crossed by two different staff members and nothing was done
Very clean and beautifully decorated! Will definitely stay there again
Very clean amenities, beautiful hotel, and most importantly wonderful staff!!!
The hotel check in went smooth. On our second day realized that house keeping was it being done. There is a small sign at front desk with that information. No where on website nor do they tell you at check in . Had to call 3 times to get 2 towels and a roll of Toilet paper. Finally delivered almost 3 hours later. The eve on Adam upstairs beautiful view but service was hoy! The waitresses were rude! Tables not clean....
The hotel is clean, one thing you should know is they are not offering housekeeping service, if you need towels you have to go to the lobby and ask them for it and if you need to change the sheets you must do it your self, they said is die to COVID-19 situation but i found it wrong, because with the appropriate PPE the staff should be able to offer the right hotel service. Also the service at roof top bar was very lacking, tables not cleaned and they do not open the wine bottle you have to remind them, the staff looks like they need a lot of help. In general the service was not good.
Unique that they gave us a room where you can not sleep, behind OLD elevators with TERRIBLE noise every time were used, also the view was disgusting. Coffee store with one person serving and closed in afternoon, Bad, bad, bad experience.
I loved the friendly staff and eased of check in and check out. they were all very pleasant!
