excellent location, sense of privacy and harmony, cozy rooms, impeccable cleanliness.

Lovely old Victorian style house in Summit, NJ.

Nice quiet little inn. Room was sufficient for our one-night stay. Breakfast offerings adequate for a quick wake-up coffee. No whole milk though, kind of hard to understand that one.

My second visit. I tried another room, "the minimalist". Clean and comfortable.

There is nothing to like about this property. It is 3 story building and does not have elevators. It’s unfair to expect that guests should climb along with their luggage till 3rd floor. No one is available at reception counter. Breakfast is not good. Overall very terrible experience.

Location is ideal & Teresa great. Very accommodating but property is very "tired" overall. Needs TLC. Wallpaper peeling off walls, desperate need of touch up paint, furniture beaten up badly in rooms.

This is a grand old home turned into a hotel. More like a big B&B, really. It has the charm of an old home with creaky floors and real wood trim. If you like shiny marble in the lobby, this isn't for you. If you like comfortable homey-ness, this is a cool place!

Delightful traditional inn with modern amenities. Car parking was undisciplined.

A nice homey feel and the rooms and service was great!

DONT STAY -> First come first served parking(max 8 cars)..if you own big SUVs fgt it. No street parking allowed in night also. -> Its a home.. has 10 rooms next to each other. open you door you can hear what other people are talking in thier rooms. -> very small shower. if you tall and big, then it wld be very difficult. -> air conditioning/heater is worst..doesnt work. you will be asked to keep the window open if you find it hot. A spare fan was given but it also doesnt work. it should be advertised as B&B place..not an INN...waste of money..will never come back

Old property, a bit tired, but clean. Staff a bit grumpy. Newer bath

Very pleasant stay & hospitable host! It was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast place. Very pleasantly surprised with the privacy of the location! Nice little getaway. However, just a heads up, there are no microwave or fridge in the room & many restaurants do not deliver to this location, unless, you want to cough up a heavy delivery fee! So, make sure you accommodate your meals before settling in the room.

Good historical place. Nicely decorated. Clean and comfortable.

It’s a lovely old mansion with a decent continental breakfast but we were not greeted with the slightest bit of warmth or hospitality.

Hotel is like an old large home converted to rooms, charming. But some irritating quirks, No one to check you in, they tell you this in confirmation email, No elevator and our room was on the third floor, Room has a cool unit only with one remote control available down on the first floor. Meaning if the room gets too cold you cannot heat it and if it is not cold enough you must go down three flights to get the remote. Also the parking is very limited, I came in late and had to park so that he only way to get out was through the passenger seat. You cannot park on the street unless you call the police and get their ok.

Our staff is ready and willing to take your bags to your room. I'm sorry you chose not to employ their assistance. We are the only area hotel\ inn that offers a complimentary breakfast, if it isn't to your liking we suggest that you walk to anyone of the 20 restaurants within blocks of the inn.

Sorry you were not thrilled with your room, be advised we do not have wallpaper at the inn. We have many antique pieces at the inn that are consistent with the outside structure.
