The property is attractive, with a lively lobby bar with limited food menu. I didn't wind up eating there, as I wanted more choices, but there is a Ruby Tuesday within a two-minute walk, so that made things easy. I wasn't there long enough to check out any amenities besides the 24-hour airport shuttle. It runs on the half hour, which isn't as robust as the ones that run every 15 minutes, but it met my needs. The staff was fine and accommodating, but they often seemed more inclined toward their own personal conversations than toward serving guests. I do wish there had been some pillow options besides smushy feathers, but the gal in housekeeping made an effort and came to my room with three extras. They weren't really any different from the ones in my room, but I appreciated her effort and intentions. I was a little concerned when I discovered my room was on the first floor, facing the parking and just off the noisy lobby, but I had no problems; the room was well insulated and far enough away that I had a quiet night's sleep. One attraction to this property was that it has a pool, but I had no time to check it out, nor the fitness center or lending library. I had a better night's sleep here than I did at the Marriott, though the Marriott's restaurant is pretty stellar. I would stay here again.

Everything in the hotel was great. The only issue I had was with other guests. We went to use the pool after sightseeing all day and the guests were crowding the whirlpool eating and drinking in the whirlpool as well. No staff came in to check the pool and they were loud. One of them propped the door open so their friends could get in without their key. At one point there was 12 people in the whirlpool including 2 young children. Again I don't know why the staff didn't check the pool area but it really needs to be addressed.

Everthing was great, with the exception of the exercise room needs a few more pieces of equipment and a water cooler. I would definitely stay again.

Everyone was friendly. My room was clean and the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants

Rooms were clean. Location updated. Breakfast was good

Clean hotel close to the airport. The main front desk worker does need to work on the attitude but the girls working the next day were very helpful

Very good location. Hotel nicely kept. Would have received a perfect score had there been a working television set, and if the room safe had not been unusable. (Locked when we arrived.)

Nicely renovated, clean and convenient to Newark airport.

The overall stay was nice I slept the entire time until check out I was 20 minutes late checking out because of my taxi and the staff was very annoying the housekeeper knocked on the door to let me know what time it was flollowed ny a car from the front desk that was very unprofessional and rude next time ask if the customers is okay

Friendly helpful staff, although the breakfast area was a bit congested.

Hotel close to shopping and airport and had a real but limited cafe that was great.

Convenient location if you're planning around NJ. Traveling to NYC via Uber is a bit expensive due to traffic.

The hotel was fine, construction going on, but the staff was great!! We used the shuttle from airport, quick and helpful.

The hotel staff were all friendly and served us quickly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our late arrival at Newark Airport.
