Overall a great stay. Only complaints are - pillows are awful and the we could not regulate the heat in the room. Ended up getting to at 2am and just went to the airport. Room was 100 degrees it felt like. Room was very clean, hot water in the shower. Comfy bed. Shuttle was ontime and very easy to use, although the driver dropped us off at departures instead of arrivals. I didnt know until we went in the aiport. Whatever.

The hotel keys weren’t working despite us having to go down to the lobby 2 times to get them reset. The 3rd time we went down, they moved us to another room that had this horrible smell that resembled moth balls? It smelled like a smoking room masked with a super commercial grade cleaner. It was really hard to sleep with the smell but that’s what we get for booking a last minute hotel on a busy night. The staff was really friendly though.

The room was exactly as advertised. My stay was very comfortable. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 would be the that the water in the bathroom failed to get hot some days and the draining in the tub was an issue in the first few days we were there. Overall we had a great stay and loved the location. Would definitely be back again.

Staff were indifferent - didn't even bother to direct us to elevators or the breakfast room when we arrived. The hotel advertised 24hr shuttle service. This was NOT the case. Over 30 minutes late and no explanation or apology provided. Big letdown!

Never expected such a bad experience with Hampton Inn. They charged $20 parking fee but the gate of the parking lot was broken, anyone can get access. Free breakfast means nothing. They only provide no more than 20 breads, 10 yogurt cups for the whole morning and then announced at 8:30 am that no more food will be available that day.

Check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff were always friendly and h helpful. The room was nice and clean it had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was pretty good. The hotels location was very convenient with a free shuttle to and from Newark Airport. A short walk to the Jersey Garden Mall as well as a bus from the mall that goes to Port Authority, NYC. I would definitely stay at The Hampton Inn & Suites again and book through Expedia.

Room was great when we arrived. Roomservice to clean it up during the time we were there, not good at all. Breakfast was good, I do think there should be more fruit selection/options. Staff, very friendly I dont agree with having to pay for parking We usually stay at Hampton Inn hotels everywhere we go.
