Although I was in town for work my family and I stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Woodbridge, NJ, and our experience was truly wonderful. We booked the Governor Suite with adjoining double queen rooms, which made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. Having the connecting rooms was a huge benefit, especially while supervising five children under the age of 13. The layout allowed us to keep an eye on everyone while still having comfort and space. We were also offered the deluxe continental breakfast, and the food alone deserves five stars—it was simply delicious and exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and plentiful. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, especially for a family stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to families looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional. Their appearance was inappropriate, and their attitude was far from friendly. Check-in took an unreasonably long time — nearly 30 minutes — simply because the reservation was made under my English name, which should never have been an issue. After finally completing check-in, we went to our room only to discover that it had not been cleaned at all. The room was clearly unprepared for guests, which was completely unacceptable and very disappointing after such a long wait. When we checked out, the front desk staff member was cold and indifferent, with no basic greeting and no question about how our stay was. The lack of basic professionalism and courtesy was noticeable. Overall, the service was poorly managed, disorganized, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
