The staff was great! The room and the hotel are dated and had some issues. For example, there were significant water stains by the window and mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Also, we had to have maintenance come tell us to run the hot water for a long time to get it to warm up. The water got hot after running the hot water for 5 minutes, but it was an odd experience. University Plaza is in a great location and there is lots to do around the area.

the ac/vents did not work, so the room was very warm bordering on hot. The carpet needs to be shampooed and/or placed. Long black hair from the previous occupant was in and around the bathroom sink (my hair is short and brown). I did not see many staff members.

My family loves the size of the room and the fountain in the lobby. The property was clean. It was dated but we didn't mind that. I wish the building was taken care of better. The sink was cracked, stains on carpet, ceiling had damage, bathroom door was damaged. It is in need of repairs however, the staff was friendly and the room met our need.

Breakfast buffet is 16 dollars a person. There is no refrigerator in rooms. No vending machine. The rooms air conditioning is effective however very quiet. Difficult if you are used to white noise for sleep.

I have been in this hotel many times for events, but this was my first time staying at the hotel. It was clean and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly. Check in was one of the fastest I've ever experience and check out was likewise just as fast. I'll definitely stay here again, it was a great experience!
