Stains were noted on our bed skirt upon arrival. The house keeping manager told us they were laundered but some stains are permanent. We asked to have it removed and she complied. Fefe was very hospitable and rectified the situation promptly. We loved the coffee shop in the hotel (great iced macchiato) although the staff was underwhelming with poor customer service skills. The pool area was nice but could use more umbrellas for shade. My husband enjoyed his food at the bar (chicken quesadilla). The area is really cute with a lot of nearby eateries and lounges within walking distance.

You could walk to all points if interest. Noce, friendly staff. Only complaint is they could use some upgrades to carpets in the hallways.

Nothing special. The balcony wasn't accessible locked out. Bed was nice view was nice. Location was convenient to walk to anything. Valet parking was required unless you wanted to risk/walk from the street. Its a unique old hotel. They also texted you to death.

I had a fantastic experience at The DeSoto Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and professional, especially the bar staff, who went above and beyond to make the evenings enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after exploring the city. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to City Market and plenty of other attractions, restaurants, and shops nearby. Valet service was quick and efficient, making coming and going stress-free. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Savannah!

This was my first time to Savannah. The hotel was beautiful. All staff encountered were super friendly and professional. The bar and restaurants were excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside is it’s a 15-20 minute walk down to the river, which wasn’t terrible!
