Unfortunately we arrived far later than expected, to tired to go out and enjoy Savannah historic riverfront area. However we found the hotel roof top bar and had a wonderful relaxing evening with drinks, dinner, live music and a gorgeous view!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The entire hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming! From the valet service team, the kitchen staff, to the front desk, everyone treated us like family. Our room was nice and clean. The hotel was updated and modern with a beautiful lobby. Also, the rooftop bar was an awesome amenity with live performances and a swimming pool. Overall, we truly had the best stay!

The hotel was clean, well kept, and staff was the most friendly that I have ever encountered. It’s conveniently on River St. so within walking distance of all the shopping and dining. The roof top area was a nice vibe and the pool was clean. One downside was the only choice for parking was valet at $45 per night but it was clearly stated before reserving, and second was several construction projects going on right next to the hotel.

Nice stay

Hotel Location very good. Suggest that they have a place to get change (quarters) for washer and dryer’s, located on 2nd floor. Breakfast was really nice.

I booked a riverfront studio room with a balcony for four days (almost $1500), the staff gave me a room on the fourth floor facing the other rooms, dirty and the toilet paper holder broken… when I went to the front desk and shared with them how I felt about the situation (room) they told me that was the only room available….

Great family place!

We had a great stay! Great location, we had a suite for our family of six and the full fridge and kitchenette was lovely and we all had good space! Breakfast was surprisingly great with lots of options for an included breakfast. Parking is a little pricey, but very convenient and all the service was friendly and prompt! Great stay!! We would come back!

The area next to this hotel in under a little construction in July 2024. This was a little annoying trying to walk to River Street but still worth it because there are no stairs. We loved this hotel. Hands down the best bar / pool area in Savannah. Beautiful at night and they had a DJ by the pool both nights we were there. Bar was open 12pm to 12am. It was clean and the food was good too. Pool is a good size, has some cute water features, view was amazing of the river and the pool sparkled. Breakfast was free and it was ok. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Easy walk to Riverstreet without any stairs. This hotel is at the end of River street. We go to Savannah every year and will definitely stay here again.

Family Stay while at a Convention

We had an incredible stay at Homewood Suites in Savannah! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially with my kids. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, which made for a perfect start to our mornings and was included in our stay. The service at the breakfast was fantastic, with a waitress who always greeted us with a smile. The location was ideal for us as we needed to be near the Savannah Convention Center, and being steps away from the Ferry meant we parked our car for the weekend and didn’t need it again. The rooftop pool was one of the best hotel pools we’ve ever enjoyed, offering privacy away from the city streets. The pool bar served fabulous drinks and tasty food options, including a kids' menu, and provided pool towels, which was very convenient. Overall, this was one of our favorite weekend getaways, and we can’t wait to come back!

gave away our room 10 minutes before we got there at midnight, after a single missed call causing us to not be able to sleep there and look for 45 minutes for a new hotel. Leaving us in a dirty motel with black mold in the bathroom. So thank you to whoever gave our room away after literally 10 minutes.

Beautiful location on the river. GREAT for walking to attractions, historic areas, etc. Hotel parking was 45.00 a night. Breakfast was “meh”, but the staff tried hard! Room was perfect. Rooftop bar was super beautiful. Had live music and happy hour. Nice touch. Wish there had been a hot tub on rooftop. Maybe put a time restriction on children in the pool at night. Trying to relax with a drink and live music while screaming kids jumped and splashed water all over was not so appealing. Overall great stay. Would stay again!

Room had a urine smell and there was a lot of outside construction that made it difficult to come and go. Otherwise a nice hotel. Breakfast was great, as was the rooftop bar and pool.

My recent experience at Homewood Suites Savannah was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, the room was immediately a letdown. It was dirty, with visible mold on the ceiling and an unpleasant odor that persisted throughout our stay. This made my family uncomfortable and made it difficult to enjoy our time there. Additionally, the noise levels were intolerable, especially around the pool area. There were too many children screaming loudly, which made it impossible for us to use the pool and relax. The lack of management or staff intervention only exacerbated the situation. Overall, our stay at Homewood Suites Savannah was marred by cleanliness issues and an overpowering moldy smell. We were unable to fully utilize the amenities due to these issues, and the environment at the pool area, which significantly impacted our stay.
