Aloft Atlanta Downtown

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Decent hotel within walking distance to all major tourist attractions. Lots of cleanliness issues though....the towel left in our bathroom was damp, fridge had food belonging to previous tenant, blueberries on the floor next to bed.

Our stay was comfortable...Excess to everything that we wanted to do...Staff was very nice and drinks were Great...

Just OK. Wasn’t the best hotel. I would have chosen somewhere else.

Booked this hotel because the rating had a 4.2 out of 5 on Orbitz and it was within walking distance of the venue for a concert we were going to see. I must say I loved the vibe of the hotel but where it missed the mark was on the little details and service. My wife and I normally stay at Hampton Inns but decided to venture out and try a different property. In the rooms for the curtains/blinds on the windows they used the old style pull shades that are made out of a thick plastic material. I just looked cheap and not well put together. You couldn't even raise them to let sun in the room due to the slack installation. In the bathrooms, lacked towl bars to hang used/wet towels. Let me stop my review and say in no way am I expecting anything I just want to make the hotel aware in order to improve the quality of the property and future experience from other guests. Next, I would say that breakfast needed some attention. Items were empty and the counters were dirty. Staff members were seen being on their personal cell phones. Clearly not engaged with customers or trying to help keep the breakfast area well stocked and cleaned. For the amount that we paid to stay at this hotel, I get that its downtown Atlanta and on a Friday night, but come on. We expected a little more. Just food for thought.

We had wonderful experiences w much if tyecstaff, front desk check in, housekeeping and lounge staff, all were pleasant and helpful!

Pretty good location at good price; no bad complaints but no extravagant services either

Clean bed. Few amenities and staff were ok. Close to my conference location and affordable through orbitz at $121/ night!

Right down the street from America's mart building 2. Let me check in early and since I was working did not have a chance to experience the bar/social area. Hotel was good for one night stay, and I don't see an issue with staying longer. Bed very comfortable.

We saved some money booking farther from The Benz. The negatives: Rooms are small, USB port not working, speed dial button to front desk not working, young lady at front desk didn't want to walk downstairs to give us an extra towel. The hotel is somewhat dated but the savings compared to the hotels closer to the stadium made the inconveniences worthwhile. Hotel rooms are clean and plenty of parking for $30.

I was a little skeptical when I read some of the other reviews. However this hotel far exceeded my expectations! The room was very nice and clean, staff was helpful. My kids enjoyed the outdoor pool not to mention we were in walking distance to Skyview, Coca-Cola and the aquarium... The only thing I wasn't excited about was the $25 a day parking rate, but i will definitely be staying in again on future vacations

If you're looking for a historical and southern charm, this is not the hotel for you. BUT - if you like contemporary, modern, clean - this is the place. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and modern, the bar and pool were nice. For once I didn't have to look all over the room to find outlets for multiple chargers. It is in walking distance to CNN, World of Coca Cola and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

My stay was for business and the location was ideal. I slept well. My biggest aggravation was that one of the two main elevators was out of order for several days and the wait for the elevator was not acceptable. I would have taken the stairs had I been on a lower floor.

They lost my reservation.Took 90 min to check in.took 30 min to get a drink. Food was cold and nasty.toilet didn't flush. Sink was backed up. Shower had mold.maids woke me up.Vomit in women's room. Tables in bar weren't bussed. Cesar, GM, rude and condescending. Offered no help. Cesar also avoided meeting with me. Management was unavailable. Horrible experience for $300 a night

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff.

the room was slightly grungy along the walls and corners, but the beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. the price was much better than other options in the area. front desk staff were extremely friendly.

Customer service was poor. They over charged my account on incidentals (which I had none). The refrigerator was so dirty in the outside I couldn't bare to place food inside.

This is a really good hotel if you want to get the most bang for your buck. It has a modern aesthetic--resourceful elegance, smart use of color. The staff really add to the energy and bring a lot of warmth to your stay. It's a great place if you want to be in the PeachTree area, but don't want the expense of a larger conference hotel. The food is fair and kitchen is understaffed, so I often went elsewhere to eat. But overall I enjoyed the stay and would seek it out on a return trip to the area.

We had an issue with our reservation, but the hotel staff was exceptional. The staff is very friendly and personable. A very relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Atlanta and near lots of things to do.

Lighting was strange, wasn't that clean. I would not stay at Aloft again.
