I loved the location, beautiful hotel with a lot of charm.
We paid for king bed. They had none when we got there. Did not tell us as we checked in and when I asked they did not even issue us a discount or something for the inconvenience
Overall the property was pleasing but due to all the construction it made it harder to get around
Upscale boutique property
No closet or rack for clothes! Need more hooks to hang towels etc in bathroom.
Loved the aesthetic and the staff was very nice. We did have to pay valet which was really self parking. Would definitely stay again. The bed was very comfortable and loved the drip coffee set up.
The Wylie hotel has a lot of potential. I actually think the hotel has potential to be a cash cow. The hotel is gorgeous, one of the nicest in Atlanta. The boutique details are amazing. The ambiance is super charming. The Terrace views are gorgeous & perfect for outside drinks in the summer. Where the hotel can improve is with their amenities. Bar was closed on Sunday. Sunday was Father's Day & Juneteenth. On Monday food availability seemed limited. Plenty of guest asked through out the day & left to other venues. Miss there. Hotel guest want to celebrate & enjoy drinks. Not having that available was a bummer as well as a huge miss in revenue. Most people would probably end up spending more money at the bar then what they paid in hotel room cost. Parking could be improved. Mandatory valet for $40 just to see your car get parked 10 feet away from the entrance was a bit hard to wrap our heads around. Gym was a bit on the small end. I counted 19 cars parked vs 111 room capacity. I think the hotel would be better off reducing to about 108 rooms & using that extra space to enlarge the gym with additional features. A pool in Atlanta & certainly in the summer time is a must. I could go on & provide more details on improvements. I work with small & large businesses to help improve their customer delivery models. Please feel free to reach out but BLOT with the neccessary improvements the Wylie Hotel should be charging $450 a night & easily could be sold to full Capacity.
great boutique hotel - rooms so clean - staff friendly and helpful
Excellent property the staff, facilities and location are fantastic.
The Wylie hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel situated in the Old Fourth Ward district and is quietly tucked away. It is a minimalist dream with beautiful modern decor and artwork giving it historic charm. Upon arrival, I almost missed the entrance three times as there is no sign to tell you where to enter. I was greeted by a valet, who collected my luggage and directed me to the lobby for check-in. The lobby is small but quaint. Brittany and Natalia greeted me, and the check-in process took less than five minutes. Brittany offered a refreshment then proceeded to guide me to the elevators to be taken to my room. I want to note that Brittany and I had a previous conversation over the phone a few days before my arrival regarding confirming my room. Brittany was so pleasant and helpful, and I wanted to thank her personally when I finally met her. The hallways have amazing artwork that adds charm to the hotel. I booked a classic king hotel room, and it was more than enough space for me. The room is a minimalist dream, and if you require a ton of storage, then there is storage available under the bed, as well as several hangers available for your clothes. The room is decorated with contemporary style, and one of the Best features is the blackout curtains. The bathroom has a fantastic shower that is relaxing with solid pressure.
