Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown

I was traveling with colleagues for work and was very happy with this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, including a small sectional couch and a very large closet. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the included breakfast was very good! I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Atlanta.

This was my second stay at the Hyatt Place in downtown Atlanta. The staff is outstanding, wonderful breakfast, and nice menu it you want to eat dinner in your room. My only issue was that the heating system was pretty loud, but as it was 16 degrees the morning I left, I can understand why it was working hard.

Repeat stay. Nice rooms. Centrally located within walking distance of everything I wanted to see. Shuttle drivers are quick and curtious.

Couldn't have asked for more. Great staff, very helpful on all accounts. Looked things up for us when they didn't have the answer right at hand (and they usually did). Very good breakfasts, room was fine and the location was ideal -within walking distance of practically everything we wanted to do in Atlanta.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room. Convenient location to transportation and activities. My only negative comment is the $28.00/night parking fee. I thought parking was included in the room rate. Nice staycation.

Other than the small bathroom this hotel was awesome.

I loved staying at this hotel. The only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom. It was very small and I was really hoping for a bathtub, but we received a room with a shower which was nice, there wasn't any room in the bathroom and if you had the door opened to have room you had no privacy. Everything else was great and the beds were perfect for me.

A couple of friends and I stayed here last weekend for a music festival that was going on in the city. The location is right downtown, making it more convenient to get just about anywhere. There are some restaurants and Centennial Park within close walking distance. Otherwise, you can walk further to Piedmont park and East Atlanta, or just call a taxi/uber. I only really had two issues during my stay. First, parking is $25/day. This price is probably right around what you'll pay somewhere else, so at least your car is close to you at the hotel, but, the outside lot is incredibly small. I drive a larger vehicle, which made it really difficult to maneuver in and out. They do also have basement parking, but I just did not feel comfortable parking underground. Next, we noticed the night before we were leaving that our ceiling had a water leak right over by the counter and sink. It was pretty noticeable and dripped all over the floor to the point where we had to put towels down. At this time, there was no point in the hassle of switching rooms, but, that's something that definitely needs to be addressed and fixed.

Very friendly, helpful staff and very clean accommodations.

Had a short one-night stay. The staff (front desk, breakfast, room) were extremely nice, welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. They have a shuttle and will give you a ride anywhere within a 3 mile radius, and that includes a lot of sites/restaurants. We checked out early in the morning but left our bags because we had a late night flight, but were going to need to get to our bags a couple more times throughout the day. A staff member told us, "No worries, we still love you after you check out." We would stay at the Hyatt Place again.

We spent 2 nights and 3 days in Atlanta. The hotel was fabulous the room was large, comfortable and clean. The best staff they were so friendly greeted us personally every time we came in or out and very helpful. We enjoyed walking to local attractions and restaurants. The breakfast provided was much better than I expected lots of yummy choices.

My family enjoyed the visit. Breakfast was great and room was clean. Parking costs were expensive however.

We were pleasantly surprised and would go back again! We will look for a Hyatt Place in other cities for future travels.

We were charged $22 to park our car in the hotel parking lot. The room was nice, but only 2 of the lights worked. The free breakfast didn't have a lot to offer. The staff was very friendly & helped make our stay better. Would stay here again, but park somewhere else.

The hotel was comfortable and it is a nice place with nice staff, but right smack in downtown Atlanta. We needed to go to the Consulate the next day, and during light this area is full of business people, however the area changes at night.

It was a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, and the service was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel was very convient. Me and my friends enjoyed our stay and we thankyou for making us feel welcome

hotel close to everything downtown but not too crowded excellent hotel

Overall experience was nice. Can't complain about anything and would stay here again.

We stayed one night for a football game. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff for our entire stay. The rooms were very spacious (we had 2 double beds, it also came with a sofa bed that was part of a mini living space). The hotel was in walking distance of almost everything and the hotel staff was very helpful when asked about restaurant recommendations. You do have to pay for parking ($21) but I think that is with any ATL hotel. Also, there is no pool but you are allowed to use the Hyatt Regency's pool which is very nice and just a short walk away. I will definitely be staying here again for my next visit.

Each time I've stayed at the Hyatt Place Downtown Atlanta has ALWAYS been an awesome experience. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the breakfast that is served is always fresh and hot. I highly recommend this place to all!
