Was kinda disappointed at check in; little bit of a wait. Biggest issue was the plumbing. Contacted the front desk at least half a dozen times. Carpets were soaked from a clog in the shower. Only one guy showed up on the first day with a plunger which didn’t work. He thru some towels down on the carpet and said we should be fine. It continued thru our whole stay. Was expecting more, this isn’t my first visit. Will absolutely stay again hopefully they can redeem themselves.

It’s old building and we found roach in our room

The kitchen was very outdated. It did not look like the pictures.

The history of it

Beautiful iconic and historic building.

Convenient to Fox Theater but odd room layout and quite beat up furniture and floors. No dining or drinks on Sunday. Check in was at least 30 minutes in line

Great property and friendly staff

Spacious clean rooms well situated

What i did not like, was during the checkout process. The hotel had 3 separate takes which equates to over $120 alone in taxes for 2 nights. Complete rip off. The worker tried to state that it is Georgia taxes. Not true or consistent with the surrounding hotels in the area. Manager onsite would not address at all.

Bed was small and I haD to pay 75 for a later checkout!!! Will not return to that hotel at all!

The information about the airport shuttle and parking was incorrect. There was no airport shuttle and I had to pay for parking. The opposite was advertised through Orbitz filtering.

It

Customer service was great.

It was gorgeous and historical, but the amenities were lacking tremendously and no one seemed to care. The shampoo/conditioner was out of shampoo and not filled even though I requested it, we had few towels and I had to call twice to get them and housekeeping did not answer each time. The pool had no towels and when I called the main hotel number, I was disconnected with each number I pushed as an option, so we had no towels at the pool. Valet did not work on Sundays so we had to get our keys and then self-park. No clear idea of what to do with the ticket for the parking. And, there was no water available either at the front desk or in the vending machines (when that is where we were told to go on 2 of the floors). It was sold out. Very sad for such a landmark hotel. The architecture is all it really has going for it.

Beautiful hotel. A bit rundown. Weed smoke and folks yelling for hours on end. Smh.
