Very charming hotel close to the historic district. Only problem was the automated text message saying that if you needed anything, to ask. I sent a text and was sent an obviously automated message telling me how to log in to the WiFi when I was asking about getting another bottle of water.

The location at the historic district is nice. The staff was very nice.

It was a beautiful hotel. Great room,. The bar in the hotel was cool.

Second time there Will go back again - best value for the $ Very nice staff

I liked the proximity to historic downtown. I DID NOT like: that check in was SUPPOSED to be at 4pm and we could not and DID NOT check into the room until 6:30 pm. There was NO mini fridge in the room, nor was there a microwave (even comfort inn and suites has those as STANDARD amenities). I did not like the restaurant in the hotel very limited menu, TVs did not work, sinks were clogged, drain in tub not sufficient to drain the water, could not lower the air in room below 72 degrees and it was 104 degrees in Savannah. I did not think that charging 36 dollars a night for parking valet should be charged when there are not other options for parking, AND, the uneven concrete outside the hotel on their premises caused my mother to trip and fall and end up in the ICU with a brain bleed and NOT one of the HOTEL STAFF even came out to see about her whilst OTHER hotel guest clamored to help. I did not even stay the second night, they said they would NOT charge me for EITHER night, and YET, they charged me for both nights stay. VERY disappointed to say the least for a Sotherly property!!!!!!!!!!!

Updated rooms were nice. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very polite.

Great location in the middle of the historic district, clean, comfy bed, friendly staff, nice pool and pool area to hang out. Coffee shop in lobby and also bar. Will definitely stay again!!!

There were no chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view. I waited for two hours after check in time to get a room after driving 5-6 hours there and they didn’t offer anything complimentary since I had to wait. Traveling on business, it put me completely behind on Friday evening

I think the DeSoto Hotel is in a great location. It’s centrally located where you can walk anywhere. The lobby of the hotel looks recently renovated and it’s really nice however that is about all they renovated. My room needs a serious upgrade. I was in room 606 right by the elevator which was noisy I did request a room change and they were going to change me however it took them over an hour for them to come to my room so I just stayed because I had dinner reservations. The walls are thin so you can hear the room next door conversation!!! This is a big fat NO for me. My friend was staying in room 620 and she had the same issue. The bathroom sink was cracked, the towel racked wasn’t there, look like it was broken, the paint on the ceiling was chipping. I can go on. The cleaning lady never came to my room and when she did come it was around 7pm. Would I stay here again - the answer is no. I would find somewhere else when I come to Savannah again. This is no 4 star hotel at the very least 2.5/3 stars.

The view from the skyline room w/ balcony was very nice. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this elegant hotel. It is within walking distance to some touristy places like the Sorrel Weed House which is said to be haunted. Really nice pub around the corner as well as other nice to eat at locations. Hotel and room was very clean. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

Wonderful stay ! This hotel is in the middle of e everything.

nice hotel housekeeping seems short staffed because there were days they just didnt get there till 5
