My sister and I stayed here for a week in the beginning of December. Room 415 is a wonderful corner riverview room. Everybody at the hotel was very welcoming. It is a beautiful historic building. There were beautiful four poster beds and comfortable chairs. I loved looking at the original brick wall in the room and the river from my bed. The bathroom is spacious. It's a great location, walking distance to a lot of historic sites and restaurants. The free popcorn and candy every afternoon and hot cocoa was an added bonus.

This hotel felt very much like a boutique hotel. The staff was very responsive, accommodating and knowlegeable. Valet parking was very convenient and safe. Although our room was street side, it was quiet. The room had some of the best blackout curtains, perfect for sleeping in. I will certainly stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at the River Street Inn from December 12–14 for a quick getaway, and we had a truly lovely time. The location is unbeatable—right on River Street and close to everything Savannah has to offer. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the historic charm of the inn really added to the experience. The only minor issue was that the ceiling fan had a noticeable buildup of dust on the blades, so we chose not to use it since it was directly over the bed. Aside from that small detail, our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely consider staying here again for a future visit.

Room was beautiful, shower was great, beds were very comfortable, parking attendants were helpful, front desk was courteous and helpful, location is safe, walkable, and close to everything you need. The food and service at Hugo’s restaurant were amazing!! The food and service at Broken Keel is below par. The restaurant was not overly crowded. We sat for a while before being waited on, then waited forever for our food which arrived lukewarm as though it had been sitting for a while. Kids ordered chocolate chips on their pancakes, which was an option on the menu. After the waiter delivered plain pancakes, we asked about the chocolate chips, and were told that they were out of them. When we got our bill, there was an additional charge of $2.00 for chocolate chips. Just paid it and left because we had already been there for about an hour. Hotel and Hugo’s come highly recommended…just skip The Broken Keel.

The hotel is in a great location for visiting historic Savannah and the River Street district. Breakfast was not included but one breakfast option was accessible internally with a discount, and one externally with a discount. It is a beautiful hotel. We had a view of the river that was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Will definitely stay there again if we go back.
