clean and neat except for one day - maids didn't clean room for some reason

Pros: close to waterfront and historic district, reasonably priced Cons: tired facility could use an updating, breakfast adequate but not much more For the price a good choice. Would not want to stay more than a few days.

This hotel was so close to everything and right at the doorstep of River Street! Not a fancy place but clean and reasonable! We were only there to sleep as there is so much to do and see in Savannah! We parked the car and didn't get back in until we left. I recommend this hotel if you are traveling on a budget!

Older building but very clean room, outside needed upkeep breakfast was good, everything in walking distance great location

We stop in Savannah just for the night and this hotel was in a perfect location for a quick visit. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and sights to see. The continental breakfast was sufficient, however the breakfast room is on the small side. I would stay here again.

Smelly musty carpet, very very small. OK for location but done plan to spend too much time in the room. Good breakfast though. Free parking which did fill up though.

Great breakfast. Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Beds were very comfortable. A great value.

This hotel is located right at the edge of the Historic District, walk across the street and you are there. I have stayed there three times now, each time for multiple days. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast decent. Oh, and unlike a number of other hotels in the area, parking is free.

I've stayed here in July and in February. This hotel has a great location, walking distance to everything in Savannah. Like most buildings in Savannah it seems to be old and renovated multiple times. A few times the fridge was plugged in to a socket controlled by a switch so when you "turned the light out" before leaving you also turned the fridge off which means you come back to warm goods and some mold growing in the fridge. Beds were nice bathrooms are a little cramped but for the money its a good value.

not the nicest hotel but it did the job as we just wanted an overnight stay on the way to savannah

My Husband and I had a nice King Size room which was comfy and clean. It appears the king size rooms are located on the side and way from the main drag and the pedestrian traffic which permitted us to enjoy a quiet night of sleep upon our return from enjoying our night on River Street. Due to the fantastic location we were able to walk everywhere and it was only a short trip back to the room in the event we forgot anything. They have an on site security officer which made us feel a bit relaxed about our vehicle . We would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

Bargain price for the location. Free breakfast did not have much of a selection, no waffles. We ate our own cereal with their milk. Breakfast area was very small. When we arrived in the evening, all exterior lights were off except in the office. Lady said she normally didn't work that shift and forgot to turn the lights on. Otherwise, very clean and safe. I'd definitely stay there again for the price compared to others in the area.

I found myself in Savannah for a few days for work and all my regular hotel brands (Hilton, Marriott) were sold out. I planned to stay at the QI for one night until the sellout crowds left, but after one night in a room where the AC worked, the sheets were clean, the cable was free and the walk downtown was SO convenient, I decided I was getting a pretty good value, and just stayed for the next 3 nights. The officer on premises made me feel safer at a property where the curb appeal makes you glad there is an officer there, but I never saw anyone or anything that made me question my security. Just regular folks, not wanting to pay upscale hotel prices.

Easy access to downtown. Free parking. Room was clean and the price was great.

It is noisy but worth it for the experience. The location is what this spot is all about.

We were looking for something cheap and close to the river street attractions in Savannah. We hit the mark. Don't bother with all the expensive hotels. This was perfect. Only thing I will say the bathroom was small and the exhaust fan didn't work as well as it could've.

This is a pretty typical older hotel. Nothing to write home about but the location is great right down in the heart of things and the room was clean and staff was nice.

The Quality Inn was close to everything. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It wasn't fancy but you get what you pay for. The staff was very FRIENDLY and nice.

The hotel was in the middle of everything.... Nice being steps away fro River st...

Affordable, clean hotel in downtown Savannah. Staff was nice.

Thanks for staying at Quality Inn Savannah Historic District. We are happy you enjoyed your time here and loved being within walking distance to the many shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues on River Street. I have shared your concerns in regard to the cleanliness with my housekeeping team to ensure it never happens again. We appreciate your observation and hope you will be back to see us again soon.
