This property needs a major refurbishment in all areas , hallways re modeled and new carpets and bedroom refurbished the room we were in needs a new mattress as ours was very lumpy and springs noisy and some were broken. Also our bathroom needs a complete remodel it’s so old dated looks unkempt. The price for our stay was expensive and we thought we would be staying in a beautiful country inn with lots of Savannah charm but this was not the case.. Btw they don’t have a bar or coffee shop or breakfast spot so basically paying a lot of money to sleep no amenities.

This hotel is in a great location and we've stayed here several times, but not for a few years. The place looks tired and as though it could use a good overhaul. The room was not very clean, the bathroom had several long black hairs on the floor and there was a bobby pin on the rug near the bed. Also, staff was not as friendly as we remembered. I'm sorry to say that this trip was dissapointing.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location is great, within walking distance of many great places to see and eat. Complimentary happy hour with wine and cheese and crackers every afternoon was really unexpected! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

We booked it for its charm and we definitely got charm with the four poster beds. The room also had a nice size refrigerator, plenty big to keep drinks and leftovers cold and a very large TV. 30 inches of snow The staff was gracious kidding and in the evenings after 7:45 they put out big hot fresh gooey cookies. There was no ice machine, but if you needed ice, ask for it and water at the counter. They do offer valet parking and to be honest we probably should’ve done that instead of parking in the garage next to the hotel because we found out if we left the parking garage they would charge us again but with valet, you could come and goand the valet attendants were always very nice. We couldn’t have asked for a better location, a block away from the busy downtown area with plenty of food and shopping, and a short walk down to the Riverwalk, but I must caution. The steps are really, really steep… there is a great breakfast restaurant behind at the hotel, and the square across the street from us had a sax player busking in the morning. But for us a great thing was one of the Old Town Trolley stops was a block away, so we were able to purchase tickets right from the concierge at a hotel across the street from the #11 stop. Honestly, it was a great stay there, and I look forward to returning in the future.
