Due to covid many changes had been made to the hotel for cleanliness reasons. However having to request towels and everything from down stairs became issue because their seemed to be no hurry for the front desk to fill request. Valet parking was horrible half the time you couldn’t find the staff to give them your keys or to get them to answer the phone to bring the car up. In addition to that my vehicle smelled of weed when brought up to me on two different occasions.
We were charged twice on our credit card at check in. We’re told it would be corrected but not until we checked out! Why??? It’s their mistake-it should have been corrected immediately! No maid service! Trash cans overflowing, no toilet paper! Then-they told us we had to go to the front desk for toilet paper!! They won’t even bring it to your room!! Much less clean it!!! We had to take our towels and trash out! Very rude staff too!! Absolutely ridiculous for a hotel that cost this much!! Better service at a Motel 6!!

The hotel was great, an awesome location with many restaurants within walking distance. Everyone from the parking attendants to hotel staff was superb!
Love the location, lobby ambiance, and friendliness of staff Rooms facing W. Bay St. can be a little noisy, but the sound machine they put in the rooms help a lot!

Fantastic location, close to everything. The hotel is great, very nice and clean. Nice bar and lobby area to lounge if you choose to before heading out for the night

Distressed finishes give the appearance of a run down, old hotel. Staff very argumentive. Parking is $30.00 per night. Only valet parking, you can "not" park your car yourself. Glass shower covered with soap scum. Had to request 3 room changes because there was no where to hang clothes, really small 2nd room with terrible view. Third room was better but faced toad with heavy traffic / terrible view.
My husband and I just spent three nights here and did not want to leave. We loved everything about this hotel. It's newly renovated and gorgeous! We had a king room with a balcony. Super clean, spacious room with a decent view. The entire staff were just wonderful, wonderful! The pool deck was lovely and the hotel is so well located. Steps to River street and practically attached to the City Market. We didn't try the breakfast as we had our itinerary for our meals (we like to eat our way through the cities we visit). Seriously, for the price, location and an all in all wonderful accommodations, why the hell would you stay elsewhere? We will most definitely be staying here again, no doubt. Savannah is a magical place.
Nice staff and great location, but they are currently under renovation. Amenities across the street at the Doubletree and workmen coming and going, with no lobby or place to relax, it is currently, simply a room, which during the day, is a noisy room. Would have been nice knowing that prior to booking.
